Good to see that putting your best players in the lower grades is paying dividends...

Auto... You're a superstar.. 84*, looked soo comfortable at the crease. Pretty good run chase as we were 6/70 at one stage and then needed a run a ball for the last 11 overs. Also, Auto took a pretty sharp catch at slip. :)

UUU ROYS!!!!

Para Vista next week. Should be a cracker!

I think your underplaying my slips catch mate......it was a miracle full length dive at second slip, mid air one handed catch with both feet off the ground......it was kinda like something outa the matrix really....If i was showboating i wouldve given it a somersault at the end but thats not me. ;) .... Automaticgully however is not in my repotoire.

seaton v paralowie game yesterday was a shambles from a paralowie point of veiw 4 blokes not rocking up cause a couple could'nt be f@@ked and another couple to pissed all they did is let the 7 blokes down who rocked up and gave there best and to be honest done a SUPER job and i really mean that to keep them to 230 off 40 overs with only 5 fielders that is a great effort.

on a positive note i'm now back from bali, mark frith was in a wedding so will be back this week and barnesy's knee is now good to go so a couple of blokes that didnt rock up will not need to rock up again as they wont be needed   . so nearly back to full strength for the clash with enfield at home i see they havent gone to well the last couple of weeks after a very good start to the season against us should be a good game.

No offence carey but seems to be a tune too often played in previous seasons coming from your club, i dont know how many times ive heard you only had 7 or 8 or blokes who didnt give a hoot etc etc. Its rubbish and frustrating considering how much potential the club has, and how long will blokes like yourself & the friths continue putting up with it? Surely there must be a breaking point..?

no offence taken mate as your right on the money but i thought things had really turned around for us this season were training 2 nights a week with pretty good numbers both nights. we knew on the weekend that myself, barnesy and frithy were out so i dont know if the others blokes seen we were out and just thought stuff it i'm not going either i really dont know but like i said when i pick the team this week a couple of blokes wont be happy it will be our first game at full strength for the year this week so i'll see where were at then

Heard Fitzies v Enfield game was a tad spicy.....someone fired up Johns apparently, something about playing in a low div. Mr M seems to be cruising in Enfield B's tho.

Funny watching one of the Rose Park lads batting y'day....fairly ordinary technique but clubbed a few and kept sledging (not sure sledging is the right word, maybe chatting to) the bowler. Interesting character and was pretty funny to listen to. Rose Parks number 3 looks a likely type, havent seen him before but rekon hell make a few if he opens up a bit.

Fitzies C grade are undefeated so far which is good for TK, Magpies96 and crew. Hopefully they keep it up. They beat a team our B grade couldnt beat in last years finals.

haha i think i know about the incident with johns ur talking about auto it was interesting indeed haha there was a few from both sides so it was quite fun. It was a good game ur opening bowler isnt bad at all c martin i think it is. Think both teams had players out as well so it was a top game and we were 0/32 chasing that 93 as well

Chrissy Martin is my brothers best mate and plays from time to time....fairly good bowler but has no committment and just wants to play with his mate in C/B grade. Hopefully he plays a full season.

The young Hancock from Enfield will be a good cricketer, good bowler and great fielder. Good to see some youth coming thru.
Hope he is going out to the under 21 trainings.

Was very surprised we defended 93, but the ground was very slow and was more like a score of 150-160.

It was a rabble having only five feilders yesterday, but together we did very well to keep Seaton to less than a run a ball. I was surprised they didny have more of a go. They lost only four wickets and really didnt have too much of a swing

although I was getting the death stare from c. white so made me hit him further over the boundary  ;) how you boys do ? see you made a couple yourself , and something about the catch of the decade ;) good to see us old fellas still got it mate....

Rose Park made 167

Couple of guys made runs for them.
One made 49 IIRC.

We were 6/70 in reply

Until Auto with help from BB and A. Roling steadied the ship and got us over the line with about an over to spare.
