Oh here we go again!! Let me guess the three new players are Dwayne Ross,Rhys Allard and Sean Mcivor!!! HAHA!!!

Sean Mcivor, Rhys Allard and Andy Evans will be Demons next season. Done and dusted.

They always seem to get decisions wrong and more importantly don't seem to get enough of the close one's right, no more than any player officiating would, so what are we paying them for... it's a joke!

So what about Willunga... I know i had written them off along with a lot of other people i know associated with the A grade and they come out and smash Mt Compass. They proved that they are still a very strong and dangerous team and should never be taken lightly.

Also this weeks game will be very tight, if Myponga bowl as well as they did last week i wont be surprised if they beat Mt Compass with as much ease as they beat McLaren last week. Myponga have as good a bowling line up as you'll see and are extremely dangerous with the bat. Mt Compass are one of the older sides and although they are very experienced they lack that youthful pace in the field. Guys like jigga, binnsy, chopper and braidwood have great hands but when it comes to chasing they just leak runs. There bowling also doesn't have much variation, since the mid-season transfer of McMillian to the demons, and rely to much on the none spinning meat pies num serves up!

I predict the GF to be between Willunga & Myponga and that should be a vary entertaining GF and a great spectacle for all to watch.

Very interesting point about the umpires! They often seem to errr on the side of caution when making the tough decision! Some umpires are worth the coin, others should be made accountable for their actions when doing the job!!

And how bout Willunga, only about a month ago they were dad's army according to everybody on the thread! And now they are the flavour of the month again!! Milford was back in the action! Showing why he was once a district opening batsmen!!! Prizibilla scoring runs first up after injury! And Mcmillan against the old side coming in towards the tail playing some lovely shots!!! Some of the big guns for Willunga didnt fire like Elliot,Harding,Peek,Williamson etc! So they may be the force come the GF!! The bowlers did a super job aswell! Minot was tight and so was Williamson! Unlike the girl he was with Friday Nite!! haha! The slow bowlers took wickets!! and Fry looked dangerous!!

Would be good to see some Mclaren lads continue their feedback on this thread although there season is over!! I know with harvesting and so on it must be tough to find time to access the net but ur feedback is enjoyable to read and u always add valid points!!

Also heard on the gravy train that Andy Evans is looking to play at another club next season in the GSCA??? Rockyb any info son??

Yeah there are some of us McLaren blokes still on here Danozzo. I believe Pongy are a real chance this week, they are dangerous. Much of Compass' hopes relies on Mark Nash with the ball. Compass have a few good bats but not enough penetration with the ball aside from Nash.

Well done to Willunga, i never counted them out when they lost those matches. They have some good experienced heads and if they can come together as a team then they will be hard to beat. I cannot believe Fry is still in the A grade though.

As for Goolwa/Willunga's so called recruits well we will just have to wait and see. I am mates with MCIVOR and spoke to him about the possibility of coming to McLaren and his response was he is not going anywhere. I have heard the Allard rumour from a good source too but still i will believe it when i see it.

Another rumour to throw into the mix are McLaren's possible recruits next season. The possibility of getting Simon Hatji back from Southern is high. I spoke to him at the start of this season and he said he was gonna give Southern one more crack but he said when he is ready to leave there he is definately coming back to McLaren.

The other is young Matt Heaney, medium/fast bowler and a solid lower order batsmen is pretty close to signing on next season. He is playing footy down here this season and is best mates with young Daniel Petrucci and pretty close to securing the deal. He is currently playing A grade for Sheidow Park

Just got off the phone and the players i named r certain starters for Goolwa next year also a posibility of R Mcard to make a return all talks of going to willunga r false stay with ur stand up Eric  and if you get Evans good for u as i heard u where playing for us next year as Minot is in deals with trade with u and Evans straight swap as if u both play in same side he might loose the BLAZER and the new ball although that might be better for him as he only gets the bottom order out anyway

since when does cricket have a trading period, except in your wildest wet dreams.
if you spent more time on looking after your own team, rather than chasing imaginary players you might be playing at the momment.
trades, contracts, signings, spare me your bull and talk about cricket.
premierships is what it is all about

CORRECT!!! why would anyone realistically want to go to goolwa??? the only incentive is to play on the best ground in the association!!! williamson to goolwa is a joke... so much so that he should use that as apart of his material in his next stand-up gig!!! if goolwa lost andy they would be in dire straights and i dont know how spurls back would hold up having to carry 10 players instead of 9!!!

Very interesting to see how people respond to crap on hear  u really think Goolwa would want Wiliamson get off the grass boys you all have a go at us for responding about the crap u post about Andy and soon as we say something about your players all hell brakes loose and u all start bagging Goolwa ,I have never pointed out any other clubs and bagged your clubs so lay off ya knobs as for concentrate on our own players you all have to be kidding take a look at yourself and what your club/players do half of teams have players who played most junior cricket at southern or have players who have played for a number of different clubs so dont get me started on that coz you will loose that argument all players that have played for Goolwa have never been chased all just came to training themselves and with the new guys we may get next year are only playing as there mates are playing for us .

And whats the problem u all have with Goolwa anyway i hear its the verble spits some of you get and if thats the case harden up as every time i have played against other clubs what we say is nothing to the crap other clubs go on about and i believe it is only the couple of younger guys who say crap anyway and the biggest sledger is Evans and you all cant stand him by the sounds of it but 4 out of the 8 clubs all have talks with him to get him to play for them even offering money wow you all change your views on a guy if he is playing for u dont you

As far as i am aware there is no Heaney that has played A grade for Sheidow Pk.
