Hearing plenty, not sure how much is true vs rumour.

Payneham very active already.
Farmer has pulled the pin.
Lee told not to return.
Stagg likely to retire.
Have signed Boerema (Pembroke) and offered Hill (SPOC) $8k to captain and open the batting.

Hope Valley have lost both A and B grade captains from last season.

Flinders Park have offered Sam Tyler (PAOC) $10k to captain coach their A3s.

Well under the quote he told us in our meeting we recently had with him.. Rumours of a potential package deal as well, would certainly put a DENT in PAOC line up if they both depart

A bit harsh Arch.
He would have taught a lot of lads over the past couple of years some invaluable knowledge.
It's not about winning D grade cricket at that level.
Good luck Hoges.
Bloody legend.

He may also have curbed the development of some lads..

Exactly right. Not that hard to be a mentor during the week or on the sidelines on game days with all that invaluable knowledge.

Kilburn set to go backwards with an exodus of players.. majority of their A grade side gone.

May struggle to field two sides.

Why is their club so volatile with player numbers?

Are they not local residents who play there?

A lot of the players have just had enough I've been told - either invested a lot of energy and time into the club and want a fresh change, or the other reason I'm hearing is it's not the greatest or safest family environment (the suburb not the club) and a lot of the players now have families.

Para Hills set to be the big benefactor from this..

Yeh massive pick up for Para Hills, Kilburns A grade can form an E grade side at PH.
Wasn't their A grade in C2 this past season ?
I played against em recently, I wouldn't be banging on about any quality that's for sure.

B1 last year - their B grade was C2.

Yes I believe forming an extra side at PH is exactly what's happening, as for the quality of players leaving Mitch Reynolds would comfortably fit into higher grade sides, he's a reasonable talent - 500 runs last year and 50 wickets isn't a bad return.

Weren't they top in b1 for most of last year?
They played us at reynella last round I think and we beat them pretty convincingly.
The coach was sledging our batsmen from the boundary which wasn't received well by our captain, and told him so.
Pretty sad fall considering their history.
I know a few blokes from kilburn that have put a lot of time and effort into picking up their standards.

Give Putland a few very nice Saturdays and he will be fishing.
