Well done to the craigmore boys in beating us in the 20-20. Goes to show froffies is human and can't carry the side every week. Real stuff is on Saturday.

I'd assumed all registered players were eligible. Pogas can bowl well when he puts the effort in. Handy with the new ball.

Have to have played a game for the club in the current season.

Rosies got up in a good game by a few runs against Westies. Westies got to needing 20 off 4 overs with wickets in hand but lost 4/0. Last pair got us close but not over the line. Probably should have been the final for the PDCA slot, but when you have top 4 playing in one half and bottom 4 in the other you're going to get the best 2 playing earlier than you should.

Rose & Crown 4/160 d Salisbury West 153 in the final of the other pool matches.

Westies jumped out the blocks early in their chase with some very sweet hitting, racing to 100 off 10 overs before some tidy bowling pulled the run rate back a fraction.

At the last change of ends SW were 5 down needing 30 runs, before R&C wrestled back ascendancy.

Very long day, but thoroughly enjoyable 8)

I agree, no disrespect to Craigmore who obviously had a very successful day, but i cant help but think things should've been different with SW & R&C in opposite sides of the draw.

Was a very strong pool with Angle Vale, SW, R&C and VIR - would've liked to have gone through with SW, but at the same time very happy to collect the W

Yes,some of those friendly field placings and bowling changes kept the game interesting for a bit longer.

Great game today and I agree hat it was a pity that we had to play in the first round.

The bigger pity though was the absolute disgrace that the Westies lads left for us to tidy up for them, must have been thirsty lads as we nearly filled the ute up with empties.
A word from the wise... Pick the F&^k up after yourselves, we do when we visit you blokes, pretty sure there are some photos that are going to follow.

Oh and well done to Craigmore, always good to get a victory against frothies

This is the mess left by Salisbury west today!
They left rubbish everywhere, left our chairs that they borrowed
Over there. Unbelievable to think that grown men
Can't pick up after them selves.! They must not have been taught
As children to pick up after them selves!
If I were you blokes I would feel ashamed!
DISGUSTING!

Not sure you guys get everything in the bin we provide. Not forgetting the fact we weren't the only people sitting there on the day.

pity we didnt get photos of the other side where the supporters were sitting ( the 6 or 7 fellas thats felt it was the right situation to start rattling on about last years grandie )

Not sure where you were Graham, but if you were a part of the middle group behind the bowler, then thankyou, that site was spotless

I might just take a carton down to the womens game tomorrow night which happens to be at Westies, empty them and just start throwing them around. Guess it will help pass the time

Friendly field placings, yet your blokes still didn't just pick off the singles and still tried to clear the boundary

I felt in the context of the game throughout the duration i made the right decisions that were in our best interests... whether i did or not is up to individuals to decide but we got the win so that is all i'm concerned with ;)

Also hard to set a field when some of your blokes were hitting some big bombs.. wouldn't be suprised if there were more 6's than 4's
