well all our prep is done and we have put what we thought is a pretty good side on the park for Round 1.

Let the season begin, will be a good test for us against a side most would think will be playing finals by seasons end.

The Salisbury West cricket factory continues.... 5 teenagers and 2 under 22's in the side.

Very refreshed look with Sewell, Picton and McInnes C missing from last seasons side.

Exciting times.

Where's McInnes?
Any truth to the rumor that Picton is playing in the B grade at CU?

in our A Grade this week we have

-4 blokes under the age of 18
-2 blokes who are 19 years old
-2 blokes over 30

Scotty Keylock playing at Smithfield was he there last year, handy cricketer.

Jamie Tuckwell is he the lad that opened the bowling for Smithfields B Grade last year.

No Scott didn't, he is a very handy inclusion, averages about 80 at Smithfield Oval, has been very keen and will slot in nicely.

Yes, Jamie opened the bowling and captained in the B's last season, bowls a good line and has been very impressive at training, gives us another dimension with the ball as we have a good range of variety.

One lad has returned from playing at Port Adelaide.... I'm the oldest in our side and the only one over 30 !! :oops:
