Are abandoned games only when there is no play at all?

No, goes by how much time/overs lost in the match. So Northern/ Woodville match been entered correctly and both teams got 10 points each.

The interesting one is Glenelg and Port who played around 24 overs I think. Still lost 72 overs for the day, so I believe they should get 10 points each still also.

Anyone know if SACA have thought about bringing a points system in like they do in local footy?

Seems that sides that don't recruit heavily aren't able to compete against the current top 4 :?

Don't know how they would apply that to Uni - all are recruits. Unsure how it works with their footy team though?

I do stand corrected on the following though:

Can't think of anyone at Adelaide (apart from Page) who are outsiders.

Kensington I think mostly home-grown except Doyle and Hunt (and Worrall/Ross when available).

ET have a few (Cormack, Dall, the poms).

Oxley and Eckland (2nd Season at Glandore) Poms I think

T.Keen has been at 3 other clubs and apparently lives nearby anyway

Rajesh played at 1 other club beforehand.

The rest are long term players and have come through the lower grades.

Could they bring in clearance fees maybe if clubs sign a player from another grade club?

Prospect all out 62 vs Uni

Mennie 6/16, Winter 2/14. Poor week to get them. Now they'll watch Weatherald blast 150

Glenelg (229) vs Woodville (1/40) interestingly poised. Nielsen out, Andrews possibly in Shield team. Winner clings onto their top 4 hopes.

Kensington (302) look in a good position vs the Jets (2/8). Cossie in form though.

Amazing recovery by TTG vs Port. 6/109 then Weaver and Somerfield put on 200. Port 0/48 but lose Cooper.

End of the season can't come quick enough for the Pirates unfortunately. Uni on target for an outright win.

Southerns 8/237 from 96 overs vs Sturt. Slow going but a tricky total to chase down, especially if they can chew up another 15-20 overs in the morning.

East Torrens churning them out again, 8/352 vs the Eagles.

Just looked at the card - looks like something has happened with McInerney again?

Really? Geez he's had a wretched run. Hit on the arm twice from memory plus a concussion issue? Poor guy. Just when it looked like his cricket was about to take off too

That's good news - he's had a bad run this year with injury. Good to see him playing again.

Absolutely up there - probably him and Valente (might pinch votes off each other).
Bosisto and S Kerber probably around the mark as well - again may be an issue with them pinching votes off each other?

Done Phantom draw which shows it being a very high polling affair.

Currently had (with 3 rounds to go, and Uni, Northerns and Adelaide all with the Bye!):

Valente 34
S.Kerber 30
B. Pengelly 29
Cosgrove 23
Bosisto 22

All of them have the Bye to come. Would love to see Valente win, best player in the Grade comp by a mile, and would be entertaining speech!!

Apologies for the brain fade - are their medals also for One Day and T20? If so, a few of those names above would be in the mix for the One Day comp and maybe Brad Davis for the T20?
