The only two turf clubs close to you would be Concordia and Penfield, I would think that you guys would be aiming for A1 or at least A2's if you were to join the ATCA or do you plan to join another league, Tanunda play turf don't they.

So how'd you become chairman, did you guys have an AGM? I wish you all the best with it, I've done it for about 7 years, it's driven me nuts at times. One bit of advice, everone has rabbits, it's how well you keep them in their cage that matters, you don't need bad apples ruining things for everyone else.

I've been involved with the RTCA.
Played with Loxton, was president of club for six years and was vice-president of RTCA for two.
Also played for Murray Districts in the country carnival.

and of course me a very unlucky 14th lol

That is on last years form alot of players that could make that side . Could prob make a half decent second 11 with the three guys 12th 13th and 14th

The "lee ?" would be Leigh Harrison, son of Les. Had a good year after being generally considered to be underused by the previous captain. 40 wickets or so for the year. Chad Mac had a poor year with the bat and is starting to struggle with keeping. Apparently was keen for some young kid to have a go as grade 1 keeper last year if there was one knocking on the door, but with none of our young keepers getting a preseason with the gloves decided to take them himself from what I understand at least. I think that team just shows how dominant 3 sides were last season.

Na, that's standard, it's on a Wednesday night, I'm in the process of handing over the reigns at our club so I'll be there, you'll get a letter in the next couple of weeks with all the details. There'll be some arguing for a bit, lot's of opinions then they'll decide to have a vote on the major issues. I'm not too fussed on the major issues, at the end of the day it's all about a bunch of blokes going out and having a game of cricket followed by a few beers and some stories on what could've been.

Hey GI, did anyone stand out in your B grade, I've been rattling my brain and can't think of anyone in particular, I know they were a pretty young side with lots of ability.

Big call mate . But def true going on form the last two years chocked both times its only going to get harder for them by the sounds of it . Loosing some important players .

Interesting. Choked ?

Against Sandy Creek 2 years ago, definitely.

Last year ? Wow....How can you say a side choked when they backed up and made their 4th Grand Final in a row after losing players of the quality of - Jimmy North, Adam Ozolins, Andrew Parkhouse, Shane Nobes and Rocco Illuminato. I guarantee any side in the comp wouldn't make the finals after losing 5 players of that ilk. Silly comment.
