Morphies beat Ramblers 6 down I heard.
Won all 4 grades which doesn't happen very often. C grade outright
Might be a few sore heads at T20 tomorrow.
Except Moe who is working tonight & tomorrow :(

Cove beat Sheidow yesterday. Cove 300 - Sheidow 204. Could have been a lot worse. s Cooke made the score respectable after smashing an unbeaten 84. Game was played is good spirits and we enjoyed having a few froffies with the cove boys after the game

Cookie last man out. BC will say he was robbed of an opportunity to win or lose his bet for the day too :-)

According to My Cricket we do have official umpires today for 20 twenty. How much are the umpire fees?

Well done to Jabber and Plympton, the little bit i saw it seemed like a good day ..... It was all set up for a last over victory but unfortunately were only centimetres away from a great win.

Maybe Coromandel might think twice next time before agreeing to a one dayer against a supposedly lower side. IMO it takes the advantage away and nearly paid the price.

Thanks for the compliment fig but shut up about the other rubbish. That's stupid.

Coro boys and everyone else for that matter, figjam's comments are not the views of pfcc, in fact they couldn't be further from the truth.

Interesting game between MPCC & WYC today, or should I say entertaining finish.
Was not there, so I will leave it up to the other forum writers to have their opinions.

What I will say is thanks to the WYC boys for supporting the BBQ & bar afterwards, and look forward to round 4 for what promises to be an entertaing 2 weeks.

Game 2 saw a big win for South Road over Coro, with a big 106 no from some big bastard whose name escapes me.
Now there is not too many times I say anything nice about South Road, so, maybe I wont start now, except to say this: Glad you found the place & thanks for supporting the bar. That is IT for the rest of the season!

That big bastard would be Matthew Potts. He absolutely smashed us for some of the biggest sixes I've seen. Credit where credit due, very solid knock. We just couldn't quite get there but it was always going to be a tough ask. well done to the south road lads.

What was so interesting about he game before hand? I saw the whole game and it looked pretty good from where I was sitting.. there were some very interesting decisions made by the men in blue though. When a ball lands on the road I wouldnt have thought one would have to ask for clarification if it was 6 or 4! Happened several times today.

Thanks to both Plympton and Morphies for their hospitality this weekend. was a very enjoyble 2 days of cricket. Yesterday in particular by plympton for inviting us in for beers with Akermanis. Good to see the spirit is still around and two teams can still enjoy a cold beer after a good game of cricket.

Good day at Morphy Parks yesterday. We were treated to a pretty special knock from Matt Potts who made 105 of about 60 balls with 8 sixes.

Looking at the next round of 20/20's, it has South Road listed to play at Plympton Oval but the other 2 games are at Edwardstown, our home ground. Surely the association will change this?

That has just been entered as something had to be entered for mycricket to be happy.

South Road and Plympton will host round 2 of the ASCA T20 comp and South Road will be at home.

Hitting a hundred in any form of the game is a good effort but to do so in a T20 is a a great effort. So there were 2 hundred's(Potts and Neal) and one hat trick (Blesing) in the first round of T20 games this year.

I wonder what next weekend, SAMCA T20, will throw up.
