WYC 1/9. With another BBW the first wicket.

Bad luck champ still one fa. I heard keswick had a couple of iffy ones to 2nd ball of the day and the bowled i think it was the little indian man wicket could be wrong what did you think of them WYC.

Certainly is bad luck and still one fa but i feel for Brad, he is due for a little bit of luck to go his way soon.

The 2nd ball of the day that bloke smashed it not sure how that was iffy. Another caught behind not given but there was one LBW that we got which some would say was missing leg stump. The last wicket where he was given out bowled, but no bails were on, i can't say i saw it hit the stumps but i certainly heard it hit either the outside edge of the bat or the stumps. Benny Mac was keeping and was certain it hit the stumps.

Only going on what i heard the opening bat swears on his mother grave he didn't hit it. The last wicket i was talking to sachin and he said he got an inside edge and nippa at squar leg seems to think it didnt hit. the big stuff up of the day was the lbw on jake from kurt. couldnt get much more plum. Greame said it was missing everything and after the days play said to another guy it was to high, bit hard for too high when it hits him on the toe. really didnt have any idea i think. but s**t happens

The bloke that opened is kidding himself if he thinks he didn't hit it i am sure Williamson can verify that. The last wicket if he says he hit it would make sense as i certainly heard an edge or something similar but Ben was certain it was the stumps. Jakes may have been his fix for brads decision.

Hit me on the toe? Now I'm not saying if I was out or not, but whoever said it hit me on the toe was either blind sighted or simple chinese whispers!!! Or maybe even at covers and got no idea if it was out or not ;)

A win for the Ramblers in the 20/20 v NH tonight. Hard batting conditions for NH under lights and way too many runs to chase. Enjoyable evening all round.

Makes view for a good day, Keswick will be there all day with the BBQ trailer cooking and selling beer all day.

Bring your mates out and watch a bit of a slog fest.

Went down and had a-bit of a look at the Morphettville vs. Coromandel today.

Morphettville beat Coromandel quite comfortably today, passing the total 4 wickets down (I think).

Coromandel didn’t look very dangerous today. They only had 10 fielders, dropped a few catches and I noticed that Sam Cheek didn’t have a bowl.

At this stage they look like there pretenders and if they want to be serious contenders there needs to be a massive improvement especially in the Batting.

Plympton were also 7/132 in the second innings. B Cameron took 3/34, A Harvey 2/26 and B Crichton 2/26. Pritchard only score of note with 38. Camo took 10 for the game after 7 for last week.

SAMCA Invitational results;

Keswick beat ICC in the 'curtain raiser', Mackay 100*. Verrall with 50 odd kept ICC in the hunt before walking when given not-out.
Sheidow beat Ramblers. Sheidow batted awesome to easily chase down 150 odd. Ramblers fielding was first class, i counted about 5 direct hits.

Keswick to play Sheidow on the 21st November (@Marymount i think)

Also heard WYC didn't wanna participate because 'it is too much cricket' -and- 'it is too hard to back-up after a Saturday game'. I found that interesting (and some-what hypocritical) considering this club was influential in the decision to vote against the proposed 7 one-day/ 7 two-day fixture change. Perhaps they would find it easier to play Sunday T20 games if they were scheduled a one-day game on the Saturday prior to these events?

Just a reminder, we have toilet facilities...

Pretty sure if we scheduled it after a one day game we would be backing up after more cricket! 2 day game = 75 overs! 1 day game = 80 overs! So good point Gowser, well done! Made a whole lot of sense!

We simply didn't want to play as we were not keen on playing nearly every second Sunday (especially with Hopkins and McCormack playing association, and no one actually knowing when or how many games there are to be played).
Plus, unlike some clubs we have juniors who are coached or managed by A grade players so to continue missing those games for t20s is unfair on them! If we earn the right next year, we may change our decision!

Also, back on the 7 one day 7 two day comp, instead of complaining about us voting against it maybe your mob should worry about getting their allocation of votes at the AGM and it could have got up!

Good too see Heath make a ton, apparently one of the best knocks alot of the guys have seen! More importantly, Keswicks first win since rd10 last year, so here they come I reckon.

Seriously for a guy that obviously play cricket I am glad he doesnt play for us!!!! Whilst he is happy to tell everyone how good he is, it is obvious that Cove as a team will suffer against the best opposition..... It is all about him!!!
