Is that Sampson from goodwood formerly of ICC sharks in ASCA?

Yes

Thanks Heater.

Interesting to see on of our comp's better players make the atca association side in his first year. Must be impressing the right people.

Yeah, Goodwood has heaps of indoor cricketers. Thats why Sheedy went there I believe. Sheedy, Sampson, Berry, S.Martin, D.Martin, W.Potts .the coach Lonergan are all very good indoor players...prob more there that i have forgot

He certainly is a very good cricketer. It doesn't surprise at all to see him doing well in AT.

Gonna be a huge day Saturday for A2.

Will be a much different ladder after this game. 2 should be left clear up the top, the rest in the pack for finals! Should be interesting to see the results.

Some interesting results this round and some interesting ladders. One of personal interest is the LOC ladder with 8 of 9 playing teams within 10 points of the 4. Going to be an interesting last 4 weeks of the season.

Just wondering what peoples thoughts are on clubs not notifying the away club of the pitch condition to stop them travelling to a pitch which is to wet to play on.

whats to stop the home team being in a losing position, calling u to say it is to wet when it fact it is just damp and playable, both captains need to agree IMO

I've seen it be used and abused. Though this season I have had to travel to find a wet pitch and make an opposition team travel to see an unplayable pitch. I suppose it is a part of playing turf cricket. Sometimes that last hour before play can make a difference as well.

Just curious, what is the official maximum time you can wait at a ground for a pitch to dry before you can start play?

According to bylaw D5 play shall be abandoned in the two day competition if the match has not commenced within 90 minutes of the scheduled start for A1-B3 and 60 minutes for all other grades.
