Well we faced two overs of spin at the end of the day. Don't think our blokes had to lay bat on ball once. Will be different when we actually have to score tho.

Mitchell Pk such a disappointment. Dismissing WY so cheaply would be their best start to a game all year, but they always seem to implode when they get a sniff.

Well Sth Rd do have the most technically correct batting technique of any side I've played, but a massive turnaround in the bowling and fielding by the ramblers gave ourselves a chance. Should be a solid win to ramblers with only 160 runs to chase. Sth Rd vulnerable scoring under 250 I reckon, as there bowling line up leaves a little to be desired.

Indeed....just trying to spark a response....but seems nearly impossible on this forum.

We've fallen short of 160 runs plenty of times before, so we won't take it lightly.

0/45 you should be confident chasing another 160 the same as the WYC are confident of getting the last two wickets for the win against Mitchell Pk.

on other games an improved effort from the roos bowlers on the weekend, only chasing 220 odd
hopefully an improvement in the batting could see them get their first win for the year

From what i hear the roos didn't bowl badly against WYC we were lucky for the first 20 odd overs not to lose one or two and then we capatilised on the bowlers being tired at the end of the day. That bowling would bowl us out for under 250 on most occasions.

What you say wyc is true morale during the bowling was high right till the end. We are improving each game as a club. B grade just falling short each week, c grade 1 loss. look out we will be back

do you think you guys can stay in section 1 next year? i know you have a team in sect 2 but with sheidow pk well over due to come up i dont think the association would have any qualms about relagating both the teams to keep the section fairly even.

Hopefully if we can get a couple of wins we can stay up in section 1. We have ben in the top five or six teams for many years, and you can't judge us on one bad year. Our section 2 side is starting to develope our youngsters and provide some insurance for our a grade.

What happened with u guys AF you guys didn't make 160 let alone make another 160 do you have a different view on Sth Rd's bowling attack after yesterday? We got our two wickets and had a go at an outright but fell 5 wickets short didn't bowl well enough although they had 45 overs to chase 200 and at no stage did they try and chase it which was a bit disappointing.

Gutsy win for Haven on the weekend, 10 men as one of our boys got called into work, Two 16 year olds and a 15 year old in the team, and an average age of 24, a very good learning experience for the young lads.

Heard that was a good win Bazza also heard that a few Keswick boys were not happy with being given out by ump Heath being one of them apparently they paid you guys no respect and batted arrogantly.

It is good to see that there are a few different teams this year that are doing well Nth Haven and Sth Rd coming up from sect 2 have done amazingly.

From who told me the top 4 and 1 other all batted, in this persons opinion, in an arrogant manner and they thought the batsmen did not show any respect to some or one of the young bowlers not sure who that is. Not trying to cause trouble just putting out there what i had heard.

That is fair enough bay boy maybe the info is not as reliable as i first thought going by yours and bazzas comments and no this 'mystery' person is not from either club.

Anyways who are the tips for the top 4 at the half way mark of the season.
Looking at the run home for all sides i can't see the top 4 changing maybe just the sides swapping positions. Coro ramblers probably the only one who can sneak into the 4.
