Disappointing result for A&EHCA who on paper appeared to field one of their better teams for a few years.
Not disgraced at all, losing narrowly to the 2 finalists but honorable losses certainly wernt much consolation to their manager who wasn't pleased at all.
Should be a very good final.
Tipping Hills only bcos Great Southerns batting looked shaky on Sunday.

Thats the theory that send punters broke at the Casino. 10 Reds in a row, surely Black has to come up? Nope, usually another 5 reds in a row. Lol

Creeks play Woodside this Sunday in the A&EHCA T20 Grand Final to qualify for next years CLH T20 champs so by March 5th they will be aiming for 23 on the trot or win no. 1 of a new sequence.

No idea whose fave on March 5th. Creek or Angaston? Lets just hope it's not sauna like conditions on the day as it was last year.

Does the country champion still play the metro champion? Used to be a triple header with all three games in a row

Yes they do.
Last year Langhorne Creek played Virginia in the Country v Metro Final
Virginia were 2/79 off 13.3 overs when match was abandoned due to a torrential downpour.

Yeah, I think there were 4 games due to be played.

Rough times were something like:
9am - country final
midday - metro final
3pm - country vs metro winners
6pm - atca T20 final.

In the past there has been the potential for the same ATCA side to play in the last 3 games, makes it a long day when its over 35 degrees.

There was another year when they lined up all the SAMCA finals on the same day. Had the U21 50-over final, followed by the open age T20 final, and then the ATCA T20 final, Keegan English was playing ATCA that year and played in all three games from memory. 190 overs as a keeper and opening bat. No wonder he moved back to district after that! haha

Yeah seems about right.
Hit runs in the final too I think, made it a long day, spent roughly 150 overs in the middle over the 3 games.

Yeah i saw that too as i was wondering the same thing. I am sure the country winner plays city winner. Surely the city game is before the country game giving the country teams time to get there?
Is the metro final between an ATCA team and the winner from the rest of the metro comps?

That is interesting. Only 1 will play you'd have thought. Last year there was some concern from SACA clubs that the final wasn't on Adelaide Oval, so perhaps they are making a push to get it there this year???

If I had to guess, 5:20 is just a hang-over as that's the starting time for the tuesday games and that will get updated and we'll end up seeing something like:
9:30 - Metro Final.
12:30 - Country
3:30 - statewide
6:30 - SACA or ATCA T20 final...

Nope, metro final isn't necessarily ATCA, however they have had a rep most years in the final.
Generally the top 4 ATCA T20 teams will qualify for next year's SAMCA, along with 4 teams frome each of the other 3 major comps.
Those 16 then play down to 2 who play the metro final.
I think they seed the regular games so that ATCA sides play each other in the round of 16 and again in the round of 8, meaning only 1 can make a semi final.

How do you know that, i rang SACA today and they said the times and matches hadnt been allocated yet?
Did indicate that games would be 9 10, 12 10, 3 10 and 6 10. Did put in a request that the country one be 12 10 not the 9 10 to allow time to get there.

It's on samca.sa.cricket.com.au

Maybe they're just guessing about the times based on previous seasons
