Is ritter still opening the bowling for morphies and is Scott Woods from Porties the one who played a few B grade games at Willunga last season?

Hey "Pass It On", I've got news for you. Cricket is not Football, and the Port Noarlunga Football Club is not the Port Noarlunga Cricket Club. Sure a number of cricketers are also a part of the footy club, but they are two entirely different entities.
Porties Cricket Club don't have to be Cockle-Divers. Their actual symbol is "White Pointers".
If its good enough for SANFL and SACA clubs like the Glenelg Tigers and the Glenelg Seahorses, Porties are allowed to call themselves whatever they want.

Little bit of a history lesson for you.
Port Noarlunga CC original colours were chocolate and gold, as were the life saving club and the footy club.
PNFC changed its colours from chocolate & gold to black & white but upon moving to the SFL from the Glenelg footy league changed its colours as Reynella already had those colours so blue and white was chosen.
The only reason PNCC has moved over the years from chocolate to black and gold is because of the fact that in the 50's when the 1st club caps were made a lack of choice in colours were available and the club ran with black hats.
The PNCC has NEVER had blue and white as its colours and is a part of the great relationship that is the Port Noarlunga Football & sports club inc.

Ask a Morphett Vale player what colours they wear over different seasons and they will tell you of different colours as well.

Young lad from Noarlunga was given 3 game suspension for his abuse to the umpire.(and so he should) BUT I find it difficult to see how the tribunal also has Jimmy (NCC Captain) on notice that any discretion again will see him suspended for a game????
You will not find a more respected and honest lad than Jimmy that plays the game in the right spirit and am sure that the actions of one will not happen again.
The precident that has now been set will be interesting to say the least??

Sounds like theres an identity crisis at Port Noarlunga, I've only ever known them as BLUE and WHITE, hence the White Pointers. I recall playing many a game against them, and pretty sure they had blue and white hats on. Ask anyone, i'm certain they'll agree that they are Blue and white.

the code of conduct states the captain is responsible for play is conducted in the spirit of the game and the laws of cricket so he is responsible for what his team does thats why he would have been warned

I've been playing there since 87 and am probably more aware of the history of the club than most and I can assure you the club has never had blue and white as it's colours.
In 1976 ish there was a motion moved to change the colours but was immediately quashed as the cricket and footy clubs weren't getting along very well and cricket wanted to distance themselves from the footy club as much as possible. ( so much so they were actually going to move to the ground that sullies played on before they were formed).
The only blue and white hats you would see are the B GRade 93/94 premiership hats which were a commemorative hat, not an official club hat if you know what I mean.
plenty of club logos don't represesnt the clubs colours either.
Ever seen a red, blue and yellow crow ? A blue and white horseshoe ?

M/Vale all out for 200ish after being about 9/90,great last wicket partnership, well done hilly and bindog, gives the m/vale bowlers something to play with thats for sure.Bet T-bahr wasnt happy.Trevor Powell cup up for grabs i dont know if m/vale have won it before but this would certainly be awesome for the club if we get the rite result.
