Could just be BS

wasnt BS at all actually. just spoke to someone who has involvement with the club. apparent Hewitt decided to quit because of contrasting ideas on how to take the club forward (wanting a quickie at the club and the possibility of paying coin (obviously Papas was either too slow or cost too much ;) )) but was talked in to stayin by a few other senior players. and apparently the coach decided he wanted to throw in the towel after some comments made by players about him on the CCC forum

Craigmore have needed a quick for some time now, they have good on the spot bowlers but they become somewhat redundant without a genuine quick coming in from the other end.
Al is a very handy bowler with a great bag of tricks, he'd pick up more wickets with someone intimidating from the other end.

Sorry but that part is just plain wrong. Not sure who exactly your getting your FACTS from but you need to make sure they are 100% correct before putting them on an open forum. I actually asked players their honest opinion in regards to pre-season training etc and it wasnt through the CCC forum and that is a FACT....

If i was going to quit i would have and i wouldnt have asked senior players their honest opinions in regards to what they thought about pre-season. I told members of the committee i am actually enjoying coaching this group of players, as difficult as it can get some times. I dont think there would be a coach in any sport at any club that is liked by 100% of the players. There will always be someone not happy with something.

The A grade will be pretty similar to last year but overall a few older heads will be vital especially in helping steady the B Grade in which will be a new look side from last year.

marty ryan playing this year? and has alex tuckwell been training?

Havent spoke to Marty in about month, at that stage he said he was very very very keen to play again (when the suspension first happened he wasnt keen at all). He still has 3 games to serve so that would mean he would be back in for the one dayers so ill guess he will decide by then. Everyone at the club wants him to play again for us.

I have only been to a few training and each time Alex has been there so im not sure where that all stands at the moment.

How did Marty get suspended, wasnt another hit from behind was it, has a habit of that it seems

F2F sorry mate money is not an issue for me and would never ask for any either. I have never thought of myself as a quick bowler mate. Just someone who loves playing the game. New club and new challenges. See if I can run out another muppet for 63 ball duck. Just remember I leave having gotten you out can you say the same haha.

Ohh how I've missed these conversations with you catchit. It's been awhile. Either way a duck is a duck no matter how it happens and to silence such a big mouth is so much more entertaining. You ready for this new season. Gonna be alot more of a reliance on yourself.
