He's not married, we still talk about the catch he took on the boundary against you guys back in 96/97 season, we beat you guys because of it, I know that you played in that game from what you have posted in the past.

We have been probably the biggest chokers in the PDCA over the years, we've been rattled in semi-finals for cheap scores, lost games that we should've won and wasted many opportunities. The worst thing is, we are one of the clubs that aspires to be in grade 1, we've been re-building for a couple of years now and have plenty of young fella's with A grade experience, take out Damian Newman and our average age is about 21.

Was going to mention that catch...best thing I've seen in Para Districts. Col bowled with some real impressive heat that day. One of 2 games we lost that season.

Actually, the penny has dropped.

You bowled sharp one day at Parafield Gardens late in the day in a second dig.

We tried to get you to Salisbury West a few years back and you would've been the icing on the cake. Only played that one game for us though...

The vigours of bowling on hard wicket had taken it's toll by then, my body needed some rest. Played one E grade game there in 99/2000, had some time off and then got Smithfield up and running again, would've loved to bowl in tandem with Glen, I would've been crippled by now if i did.

I did end up bowling pace again a couple of years later, it just hurts too much and for too long after, I save it for when I get sh!tty now. I did play indoor with Glen and Jimmy a couple of years ago, I have huge respect for both of them and their abilities.

No wonder you were familiar with Dogleg and mentioned him....not a lot of blokes would be familiar with him.

Yep, Jimmy North, along with Neil Graham are my 2 all time favourite Salisbury West players.

Man, Rahd hits them hard doesn't he ? If only he could keep his head.

I'd have to agree with you on all accounts there RR, Neil Graham, always good to catch up with him every presentation, Dogleg was the first person I had played against that hit a ton in the first innings, I tried everything to get him out, I found a weakness eventually.

Raed can bat, he was hitting balls over the pine tree's at Sandy Creek on the higher side of the ground in a 20/20 match a couple of years ago, he hit 128 off 42 balls against Nth Wolves in a 20/20 the same year, they were going onto the medium strip of Main North rd at Spruance.

Billy scored a ton a couple years earlier against us, it was a second dig though, I didn't bowl til he was in the 60's, he spanked me around when i came on and batted really well, he would've been about 18 then.

Me too!

I made 86* in a one day game in my last season of cricket (2005/06 against Berri), it was the highest score I'd made since being with my missus (we've been together since 1993).

I blame her for my cricket career falling by the way side!
