I guess it depends on who you think had a greater influence on the result, Woody 3 votes in a losing side wouldn't happen a great deal, although statistically speaking it's easy to see why..

Mate, how often do you see the umps go to the book and write down the best couple of bowling figures and the highest couple of scores, players go by influence of result, based on history, umps go by stats.
IMO, 2nd innings that are dead rubbers shouldn't come into effect...............but they do generally.

OTH won because they had more contributors and were the better all-round team, I'm not denying that fact.

OTH were only a #9 slapper better in the game.. at 8 for 179 we failed to finish them off and paid for it..... 7-311 against AV without Fenwick was pleasing :D

So he's still got an average of 0
Back to the creek it is.

didnt know adam walter was a slapper to be honest? usually plays quite technically and in the V, and his innings was actually quite brilliant without any slapping in it. just poor bowling, and a batsmen took advantage. when u start bringing part timers on to bowl when your looking to close an innings out your asking for the last to wickets to go for 60 or whatever it turned out to be... so was the difference really a so called slapper, or perhaps it was depth in batting for the home side, or CUs inability to close out an innings.... or possibly some decisions and bowling changes made by CU??? how about look in your own backyard as to reason for your loss, not just blaming it on a "slapper". You guys werent good enough to win the game with bat, ball or tactically. end of...

Expect froffies to make an impact in the Mackenzie medal in a few weeks.

Mottram 3 votes for SN for a second innings hundred after the match result had practically been finalised? Second innings is glorified beach cricket.

Really? Were u even there bags? And watching the same innings?

One six disappeared over mid off with a sweetly hit lofted off drive. There was a couple more fours disappear in the same direction from the other end. There was a six and a four that hit the western fence but when milo is bowling 2 consecutive head high bouncers 3 feet outside of off stump i think they deserved to be cut over point. There was another disappear over the fence from the other end but what do u expect when you bring on a part time spinner who is bowling pies on leg stump. From what i saw every ball was played on merit, with the bad balls put to the boundary with correct shots

I'm assuming the part time spinner being referred to is Johnny Ritzema?? If thats the case pretty sure he gets a bowl most games, in fact I reckon that pie chucker took 3 fa 6 against your fellas last season along with another 20 for the entire season. Not a bad year for a young fella.
Hey Norm, Im starting to think your boys may not be rating anyone else in the competition??
Oh, and my V has always involved square leg

Wellington is pus. No such thing as a spinner in the pdca. No one spins the ball.
