If he got them anywhere near the total, I'm sure the Kraft of The Kraft would've been conjured up and we all know it woulda been lights out and game over shortly afterwards... ;)

FACT : PVLCC is responsible for world hunger.
FACT : PVLCC is responsible for unrest in the Middle East.
FACT : PVLCC is responsible for the hole in the ozone layer.
FACT : Lee Harvey Oswald was an opening batsman who once played for PVLCC, so indirectly.......

Even the Rose Lakes blokes are upset now that their arrogance tag has changed hands from their A's to our B's....

And it is about time you blokes owned up to it, well done!

Our B's were also responsible for Hendo once being regarded as a batsman, but the evidence submitted since then has conclusively confirmed this in fact was a myth. ;)

Fitzroy are and will continue to be the biggest sooks in the comp. Lost a couple of GF's to Para Vista and sooked over those and now sooking cos of what the rules say. Always blaming someone else for their own inadequacies at Fitzroy and so surprise that Gigs was involved in this incident. They were no chance of getting the runs anyway batting that slow and I hope they enjoy Div 2 next season.

Thought I'd try my hand for something different at a recreation that I'm half competent at, but failed miserably in that as well... :p   Had a boys weekend up at Port Victoria planned for a few months, chasing some tail (and gills & fins & scales... ;) ) and inhaling a few scotches. 8)

Got enough KG fillets for about 10 feeds. Back to treading the sods again this week.

Just wanted to point something out, at no stage on sat did anyone from fitzroy mention that it was within the rules for gigs to have a runner! Yes fitzroy asked PV if he could have one, but as a sporting gesture only. They weren't aware that he was entitled to have one. So to all the people bagging vista for it, blame the skipper, and only the skipper.....because he's a c**t! The team are alright by me otherwise!
caatch.

Gully reckons that Wehrmann hit some of the biggest bombs he has ever seen at the ground - fair achievement, there have definately been some monsters hit on that ground!

His 55 not out would have been off no more than 18 deliveries, and Gully wasn't serving him pies

GH,if Paul Wright were to put his hand up for Selection in carNival this year (which i know he isn't going to) but just for arguments sakes..would you consider him? we all know what his capable of but because his playing Div 4 which lets be honest isn't exactly the best standard going around, does that rule him out? he dominated Div 4 last game but would he have done the same in a Div1\Div 2 game!? probably not! so how can you judge accurately just how well he really is going considering the Carnival Team is partly selected based on form!

Funny you say that OBB.. I seen him last Friday, and he told me the reason he turned down playing at R&C and went back to CM was to play in the carnival because herder had told him he is an automatic selection...

He then went to tell me about his amazing game the week before and I kindly informed him I don't want to know about it - playing for the worst team in a very ordinary grade!

OBB i believe Wrighty is a very handy cricketer and should he go to the trainings why wouldnt he be considered?

And before people bang on about there being enough blokes in div 1 to fill the side lets look at the facts;

We as an ass. have never fielded our best side FACT

Blokes such as Nitchke, Mills, Atkins, Lochiel, Crackers, Marshall and the list goes on and on just simply are not interested in carnivals.

It could be the timing of the carnival leaving on boxing day returning new years day maybe isnt something some players want to spend away from there familys.

Also Goat has always said and continues to say that trainings are open to everyone yet I've never seen the blokes bagging the side or the blokes carrying on about whos in or whos out at training.

Should be interesting to see this years training as i have heard a lot of players are keen to play this year i hope so...
you've gota keep on keep'n on .........

You have to be joking don't you, he couldn't even put up a fight against Rose Parks second eleven let alone there A grade team.
I guess it comes down to names and not what have you done. If this was the case wouldn't you be talking up Raff from Rose Park who only took 10 wickets in Div 1 last game. Not bloody Div4!

Incorrect. ;)

Nobody is an "automatic selection". All spots are up for grabs. All players are welcome to come out to trainings. Our strongest squad will be chosen from those who are available. These are the facts that people need to deal with.

Yes, I have spoken to PW, but what was quoted by yourself was not within the content of the conversation. And yes, he, along with any other registered C&CCA player, is welcome to attend the trainings.
