Unfortunately I think something was lost in communication between the two clubs. :( Disappointing as we had guys who were keen to play, but we couldn't give them a game...

should have grabbed a few of us off here Ecky for a bit of a practice match for the lads :D

Rose Park could not field a team on the 2nd weekend of the match either in A-Grade or B-Grade because of the wedding, so both sides had to forfeit from the start. both teams could have fielded a team only on the first weekend of the match. Adelaide lutheran were contacted on the Thursday evening, and told that unless you want to play a one day match on the sat then we will have to forfeit because there would not be enough players on the 2nd weekend of the match (as players from both A & B grade attended this wedding). Adelaide Lutheran basically said fair enough, and that was it. If Adelaide Lutheran were keen to play then they would have said on the thursday when contacted that they would play a one day game....

not looking particularly promising at the moment but given teh way both of us have batted in recent weeks we shouldnt too much time for a game :)

Forecast for Saturday
Rain periods, easing to a few showers in the evening. Possible afternoon
thunder. Cool with moderate south to southeast winds, fresh at times in the
afternoon and evening.

Precis Rain periods.
