Pfitzner should be a handy inclusion for Gawler Central.
Dylan was a good footballer but currently not playing, anyone that spends three years on a St Kilda AFL list would be half a handy footballer I would of thought. He would be a great inclusion for any BLG side.

Bag and Sledge I bet your new club will be hoping they get better bang for their buck than your last club!!
There once was a bloke named Fracka,
Scored runs since he was a young tacka,
But alas not anymore,
his shot selection's been poor,
and now they call him QUACKA!!

By the sound of the players Gawler Centrals have recruited I don't think the money they will be spending will guarantee them a flag. A lot of outlay for not much more return and I am not trying to be negative towards GC but think that Nuri and Sandy were ahead closely followed by Ango and and then the rest last year so for Centrals to go out and recruit these players (which is fine) they will only get them to the level of the other 3 sides at best, though they may think different.

Given his ongoing back problems put an end to his AFL aspirations and his subsequent crack at SANFL level at Norwood, I can't see him having much of an effect as a bowler. Being close to 200 cm I can't see him batting up the order or fielding in the covers..... or am I totally off track with this one.

My mail says he is an ordinary lower order bat and slow bowler that realy struggles to have an impact!!

Maybe a bit harsh on a bloke who has just come back from an extended break...proof will be in the pudding.

Also not too sure about GC 'throwing money around' in signing these players...from what I have heard they will be getting incentives for runs/wickets just like everyone else in the A grade...

It seems eveeryone has mail,
Dylan will be a very handy inclusion weather that be football or cricket the bloke is a good all round sportsman all the best to the big fella if he decides to play. Looks like B&S has been at his recruiting best. As for Peter Thomas coaching Gawler Centrals this year it will improve them without doubt, the bloke has alot of time for young players and relates well with all ages. You wouldn't meet a better bloke.

Mmmm, Serle and Frackowski could prove handy inclusions, but Thomas is a B grade cricketer these days, his best well behind him. Attracted no attention at all this pre-season on the ATCA coaching merry-go-round. I simply can't see him as a forceful A grade bat in the BLG comp, unless the standard has dropped somewhat, so I don't see how that will guide them into a GF??

Agreed.

If Norm is what you call a " forceful " A grade bat Thomas will have no worries scoring runs. His best is certainly behind him but is still very handy player. I see Gawler Centrals going one way and that is up with there inclusions. Frackowski will be set for a good year and i would suggest he will be in the top 5 in runs for the the comp this season. Ill back him against norm any day of the week.

Will be an interesting season in BLCA this coming season with numerous players coming into the comp, among the numerous clubs. How well they fare and how long they stay will also generate some interest, Centrals have had all their sides in finals the last couple of years in a row so they would really need to make a grandy to have improved their lot I should think. And surely Nuri and Sandy Creek won't be any weaker this year?
