Have to agree best sca bowler ever, quick, mean, cut and swung the ball both ways and super competetive he was in a league of his own. Paul Sayers , Trevor Shephard and the explosive Marty Stewart were handy cricketers too.

how will you do that???? seriously.... i'm really interested to hear why your comp is one of the best comps in this state.... hopefully you can make some sense, and not just dribble the same old rubbish you continue to put up on this and other forums!!!

how many guys from your ASCA made the state outbacks team?
there is 2 from SCA, not bad from a so called weaker comp.

That is obviously a good effort but it would be hard for people from a suburban comp to be in the 'outbacks' team i would think.

As I haven't had a reply I take it Cove haven't decided what they are doing with there Juniors. Are they staying with SCA? Moving to South Central? or looking at ATCA? as a few ASCA sides did last year.

Dilligaf - they are not eligible to be picked as they are considered a metropolitan competition. And the Team Manager for the Outbacks is from SCA

Kym McDonald - Gun junior and made quite a few at senior level too. Made an A Grade ton on a saturday afternoon, another in a 1 dayer the next day. This after hitting a ton in the juniors saturday morning, the last 50 batting left handed.

Funny you mention Kym McDonald Smithy, he was a fantastic player. I remember as a junior playing a C grade game against him on the oval they used to call the superbowl?? at Hallet Cove. He could only play one week - bowled us out twice (he was sharp and could swing it from my recollection) and I think he may have even made a ton on the same day!
