Pertaringa would have to be the best apart from Adelaide Oval

I quite enjoy playing at Westminster and Warradale they both have fantastic outfields.

Obviously a bowler Razor
My best batting performances have come on Wistow Hill (No Surprises there  ) Batsmans Paradise after christmas with the desolate outfield.
Cant beat Wistow Hill for the Best Panoramic view tho - Looking down towards the Lower and Lower and Lower lakes. :(

i think one day i actually saw a patch of something that resembled grass in the outfield, i was quite shocked..

St Peters main oval is a cracker, Western Youth altho small is great to field on and Westminster is hard to go pass

i agree with st peters
but western youth ahs that hill on one side (well it did when i played there years ago)
and if u didnt smash it to the boundary would roll up a bit and come down
meaning u had to run 2 instead of hit a 4!!

seriously, i think some ttg players would even disagree with this LM, not the most fun to play on bowling up a hill and batting at one end a foot lower then the bowler is bowling.

adelaide and kensys are great grounds to play on esp after xmas (like all grounds).

You have your grounds confused there IF Western Youth has NEVER had a hill on the oval. There is an oval on Glen Osmond Rd that does but it certainly isn't WYC.

I think he was meaning that minute lump before the tennis courts at Western Youth...however i dont think it is a problem where the ball rolls up and rolls back down at all! Still vote St Peters as best oval in state outside Adelaide Oval

Well I loved bowling there, picked up great figures, I must've bowled from the good end, the pitch had life in it, unlike most of the other grounds around the metro area. They are all opinions anyway mate.

The boundary is so short there you can not get two very often and if you didnt time it well enough to get it to the boundary there you should be made to run...... :D

My favourite is Sacred Heart College Senior main oval. Closely followed by Payneham and Adelaide Oval.

Favourites: Brighton, St.Peters & Goodwood. Generally good pitches, great outfields and good atmosphere.
Least Favourite: Unley by a mile. Terrible facilities and surroundings with the chainwire around the oval perimeter making it feel more like Yatala. The deck is a shocker, the outfield is like the mallee scrub and after 10 overs the ball looks 80 overs old.
