You should know mate, after all aren't you involved with Nairne?? I've heard Mitch Hein is not playing due to it Being one day cricket, I've only heard that from another person though, but he was confident that's the case.

Im guessing Harden ?

Shaun 'Sloon' Tait may have to come off the long run to cover him ?

That would certainly put an end to any thoughts of a club stepping up to A Grade ;)

Thanks for the compliment !

If it wasnt for shit players like myself putting their hand up to make an A Grade side week in week out we wouldnt have an A Grade comp.

Cant have it both ways. Whingers out there saying clubs with teams not up to A Grade standard should bite the bullet and have a go but then you say those same players are no good and should retire.

With that logic there would be about 2 A Grade standard teams playing each other week in week out

Do you really know in your own mind what you really want or you just happy being a whinging critic?

Sounds like cricket to Mitch Hein is all about himself and not the club if he's unhappy to only bowl 9 overs a week? The researched figures that Strath produced in the initial submission to move to all one day cricket actually show a bowler will bowl MORE overs in a season than the if it remained a combo of 2 & 1 day games. Dont tell me he needs 9 overs to find his rhythm ? If he and one or 2 others want to leave because of the change, so be it, I'd have been more worried about the ones that would have left or didnt come up to A Grade because it remained as 2 day cricket.

How interesting. Inside Word replied to you post Jackpot Jim, then either thought better of it, realised he had incriminated himself, or was moderated as the post has been removed. Which one was it Inside Turd... Oops Word.

Cmon jackpot, no bowler in any good team this year will be bowl there 9 every week! You're insinuating all teams will bat 45, which if you're still fronting up, won't happen at your club! So you're happy to cater for half arsed cricketers, than proper ones? Glad as a club we have the right idea about wanting 2 day cricket and no wonder The creek have sucked lately, all taking the easy path of winning pathetic t20 comps!

Hands up those on here who are going to miss the incoherent, vindictive ramblings of the poster, formerly known as Inside Word?

Perhaps he will go back to his old handle?

Wow! Just seen some photos of the creeks oval, I reckon swimming lessons will be better than nets at this stage.... Hopefully the turf decks will be good to go??

Goes under floodwater on average about 1 in every 10 years i guess. Last time was Sept 2010 when they had to transfer the GSFL Grand Final to Goolwa.
Shouldnt be any real damage to the pitches unlike in 1992 when the December floods flowed over the oval for 3 days and that did make a mess of things, gouging out a few holes where bare spots existed and depositing an inch of sandy silt over the square.
