Not long know till meyer shield a lot of young batters making tons should be good signs for years to come. Our boy Keith is doing an excellent job leading by example and will have to be in the 11, possibly even captain. Would be great to see the Schofield brothers both play.

Hamish has just enough time to trip over his washing basket again and do his hammy so he escapes facing him for another few months #poomapants #getmum

Goolwa V Enc Bay will be a big test for the Pies. I'm know a few of the bay boys have penciled in this clash all season. Should be an absolute blockbuster! I just hope for all the fans that will get along to the game that neither side "rests" any of their superstars in preparation for finals!
Willunga V McLaren was shaping up to be the decider for who finished 2nd but with McLaren securing the 12 points last match they have all but secured their top 2 finish. McLaren's strength is their batting and with Chambers, Ifould and Altus 3 of the top 4 leading run scorers for the season, they will be hard to stop. Word is that the mercurial Bodie Wilson may have injured himself so lets hope he is right for the match as he has the absolute X factor!!!

The blockbuster at goolwa failed to come to fruition. With just 138 runs from 70 overs by the home side (incuding 20 sundries) in one of the most boring days of cricket seen since The Corpse With Pads On, Bill Lawrie, retired from international cricket. If the scoring rate was any slower the scoreboard may have started to go backwards. The Captain Evans led from the front with a dangerous 36 from 100+ balls in a display so exciting it had at least two of the spectators asleep.
