Notice Unley CC have advertised for a Coach/Captain. What's happened to Mike Watson. Going to be tough competing in A1 without him.

I think you will find that Wato will just play, he does not have the time to commit, as he has previously, to coaching full time and may miss a game or two due to some travelling. Should be an exciting year for the club, back in the top grade after 15 years

My mail tells me he will miss far more than one or two games. With Watto not committing full time, this surely would free up some money for recruiting. Any truth that a couple more players may also not be at Unley next year leftrighout?

Can only go on what you are told. I am sure the club will be looking to strengthen it's playing stocks. You also may need to enlighten me on who is not playing next season.

Sorry i will re phrase that. Tough to stay in b1. Glad you came to ATCA though to spice it up a bit and add some grunt. I would say there will be a few other clubs entertaining the thought of making the change in the near future.

Personally I think Brahma Lodge will make light work of B1 if their stocks are similar to what they have had.
I would of thought A3 would have been a more suitable starting point and I believe that they would have been more than competitive there.
Time will tell but next season might be a frustrating year for Brahma given there will be no umpires in B1..

Will Mark Harrity stay mixed up with Grange this year, or will he coach someone in the ATCA?

The guys from Grange saying they'll have Hags and Higgins in addition to Youngy all season. They are also making a few other claims on players that I can almost guarantee are wrong though - so who knows?

One from left field for those associated with ATCA clubs. Myself and a group of mates are currently playing at an ATCA club. We're of varying abilities and skill, but wish to play together. Our club has a rule that some can pick where they play but others can't, which is limiting our opportunities to play together. It's difficult financially to set our own club up from scratch. We are looking at investigating the possibility of playing under the banner of an ATCA club as their lowest LO side. Obviously there are costs associated with this (affiliation fees, curators, cricket balls etc), something we would be prepared to meet. In the opinion of some of those on this board well versed in the running of an ATCA club, would this arrangment be at all possible? And could you give me some advice and opinions on how we could go about this going forward.
