Got a bit close in the end but they were never going to get 40 off the last 3 overs, we lost some wickets in the last few overs going for the tonk, were 2/186 at one stage. Havent played Stirling yet, are you referring to Mewitt? He was their keeper last time from memory. I think Ill be at Adelaide Oval this week also...

sorry to say big fella but we sung about how the ling went crumbling a few times on sat night. we absolutly demoralised stirling, who were above us on the table.
we batted first and made 237 and bowled an ordinary batting side out for 117. they struggle without scottie huff. you still wouldve had a fun day DA i tried my hardest to break spiros window again.. i do love batting against the old club. bowling was fun too, you would have loved seeing me get trolley out for a golden duck. and b.tucker absolutley spat it when i got him. he whacked his bat against a brick wall and then spat it at his team and asked for a clearance from the club.. what a seed

Didn't know Huff Muff was missing. Tucks was never known for his even temper! very poor form!

Very sad to see the ling struggling. Even sadder to know that I'm not good enough to get a game in a team that got thumped! Shite!

haha is that true? He looked a bit seedy saturday, but when the captain asked if he had been on it, he was quick to say NO, nah he batted well though.

I don't think there was 1 person within 10km of that place who wasn't blind on friday night.

People driving past would have blown over, there was that much p!ss being consumed!

Dutchy, wasnt mewett, although he has a lot to do with why i left the ling he is a complete tool. the keepers name was thorpe i think. but a nice in swinger took care of that idiot.
