I thought this forum was to talk about local cricket issues. My club man tells me it was actually a very amicable meeting last night. Clubs voted and it appears most seem to be pleased and are now prepared to move on.My man also said that some chat that went on indicated that the ppca did try to come to some agreement with port a while back but they were not interested. Reports are they tried to give port more cricket there and were not looking for freebies as some have said on here.He also said Nyrstar did give sponsorship money but it had to be used on juniors. Good idea, it shouldn't be used to buy balls. Has the ppca got a secretary yet, bit hard to run properly without one? Good to be part of a club that lets it's members and players know the facts, it does help when commenting on here rather than guessing or worrying about who is who.

not at all you only have to read all posts to see people are saying this one is that one and visa versa! and the people that were getting accused were saying they were wrong. Im not into childrens games that went out the door some 30 years ago!You are exactly right everyone is anonymous so we will never know unless people put their name to it. We can ALL speculate as much as we like but we will never know. Its like trying to find a needle in a haystack and i dont think that its what we are here for is it? Mud Guts?

Difficult because of the lack of game time. When it's like that it has to be horses for courses, players you know can play at that level.
Must be a good team if you can't find a place for Andy Fuchs and Leigh Warwick. Question mark against Marcus Ganley, Dale Williams,S. Seidel and Jeff Twigden.
