Nah, far too old.

Also, Alan Coops is just too old by a few months. LOL that he looks about 30. LOL!

thats a big call. so because fleet plays for mylor in b grade that means he isn't good enough to play rep cricket. he would fit in very easily into lofty a grade.

Indeed, and Alan Cooper last year wouldn't have got a game, and nor would Midge.

Simple reason why Dutchy ain't selecting the squad... no idea! :-)

how old is that Dellatorre bloke from Meadows?
he would be handy to have in the 21's side as an opener if he's under age

Just because blokes don't play in the top grade doesn't mean they aren't capable. Do the ECB restrict selection of their team to players playing Div 1 county?

Plenty of examples of players in Bs (or even Cs) who could slip easily into A-grade teams at certain clubs.

There would be two Mylor B-graders that you'd be silly not to consider (Gaunt and Al Cooper).

Surely you cant argue that playing at the higher level is the same? Im not totally against it but those picked from lower grades are more than likely to be found out at the higher level...

Oh, I mean you wouldn't make a habit of it, but to rule someone out simply because they aren't playing A-grade - especially for underage teams, is a bit of a narrow view.

That's like the AFL only drafting players from the SANFL or VFL seniors - and we all know that doesn't happen.

Go the Ling in the C's.

Very strong Gate side - agreed. But the Ling have a couple of quiet achievers. I just wish I could make it out and make a complete ass of myself on the boundary (Devil Park balcony style!!!!)

Go the Ling!!

PS If I hear Coatsy and Wigger sing "When the Ling go crumbling" one more time, I may get headbutty. Those turncoat sellout bastards make me sick!!!!!

I saw dunbar play on the weekend, and he batted as slow as a wet week, a tip for the lad might be to pick up the run rate..

sorry to say big fella but we sung about how the ling went crumbling a few times on sat night. we absolutly demoralised stirling, who were above us on the table.
we batted first and made 237 and bowled an ordinary batting side out for 117. they struggle without scottie huff. you still wouldve had a fun day DA i tried my hardest to break spiros window again.. i do love batting against the old club. bowling was fun too, you would have loved seeing me get trolley out for a golden duck. and b.tucker absolutley spat it when i got him. he whacked his bat against a brick wall and then spat it at his team and asked for a clearance from the club.. what a seed

a bit of a close one in the end there dutchy. good to see pistols make a few finally. bit shaky in the tail though a few ducks. up against the gate this week could be a good one. a couple of outs and ins from our side for this game though. the appeal of a members ticket to the ashes to was too great. have you boys played stirling yet, they looked pretty ordinary. and had possibly the most annoying keeper i have even come across, none of his side liked him at all, an utter seed. will pistols be lining up against the old club this week? i did that on saturday and it worked out well for me. hopefully he doesnt have the same luck..
