Tigerpie, obviously it's bone dry down at Reynella and you boys are 100% to play?

I am sure Tigerpie has been contacted by the ATCA to find out about the condition of Reynella Oval. My sources have informed me that it is a little soft but may get a roll in this afternoon.

TP plays LOD doesn't he?

On the money Trader but we should be saying "did play" LOD's as a rather serious injury last week has sent him into permanent retirement, in plaster for 6 weeks the old fella.

pretty wet at reynella and woodcroft. no roll on either today. would be doubtful if we get any more rain that seems to be on its way over yorkes.
and yes definite retirement now so all the lod bowlers can breathe easy hahaha.

Who prepares the deck at Woodcroft for you? Being a school ground I take it nothing will be done and that game is as good as off? Or will you guys roll them yourself tomorrow morning?

Don't know about that really. Was chatting with a bloke at work this morning whose son is a curater for a few grounds and he reckons there was no chance of getting on to prepare wickets yesterday

I hope he's well wrong!

I was able to get on my wickets yesterday, but it was late in the arvo/ early evening.. my a grade pitch that was meant to be in play today is still on the soft side but luckily there was a mid week game and that strip wasn't really affected by the rain.

Todays games will be hit and miss with who plays and who doesn't..

General rule of thumb from early reports this morning are school ovals are 80% off and clubs with their own curators are 80% on.

Some clubs will prefer the one day game anyway. Will be interesting to see who gets away. I know we spent alot of times putting the covers on and looks like it payed off.

Got away today, Pitch was fine to play on.

Old Scoth all out for about 165ish

Pooraka 3/50ish.

Game in the balance!

Also heard Marion has already won over Ingle Farm.

Yeah mate already have the win. We got bowled out for 80 and bowled IF out for 61. We are 1 for 79 in the second dig. Both teams bowlers bowled well and the batters well I'm pretty sure it can't get too much worse for both sides.

You guys might jump pretty high on the ladder after two outrights (if you can get it), not bad after a shaky start.
