It was quite a moment! Technically I think it could have been given not out as he was not attempting a run, but luckily the score books added up and it didn't matter!

That one was a little bit different On Song! The ball wasn't in the keepers hands yet there. On Sunday the ball was in the keeper's hands, they had appealed for a run out and it had been given not out before anyone moved out of their crease! Still Murali wasn't really attempting a run though!

Heard a whisper that Renmark could be fielding an A and B grade side in the RTCA comp this year.
Good news for the comp if it is true. :D

Young?
He's not telling you his real age!
He's a good lad. Solid character and pours a mean beer.

Short, stocky and had a very good year last year.
Cricketer of the Year if I recall...
Also performed well at the country carnival.

Previously played with Northern Districts.

hahaha yes you are right, young is probably not the right call... good bloke and handy cricketer so we wont be getting rid of him in a hurry... if anything, his own confidence will get the better of him... just needs to relax a bit imo, see ball hit ball, its an easy game.

Derro would be a handy aquisition. If he continues his form from last year I could see him holding his own in the seconds.
Having said that he's going to come up against quality more consistently.
Lad can field too, he took a couple of absolute blinders last year.
His departure would be the last thing Monash need right now.

How are things looking for cricket this year?

No A2 as suggested in the paper?

I hear Renmark are entering a A and B grade in the RTCA, and Berri are fielding 2 A grade teams.

I've heard that, but also that the A2 will go ahead.
Berri will have 2 A grade teams and an A2 team.

The A2 concept didn't get up. Only Renmark and Berri were in support of it.

At least there will be 6 teams in the A grade this year.
A four team comp just doesn't cut it.
