Centrals all out 60 I think.

Nobesy and Sewelly got them none down.

That is superb.

Here's one for ya, we call it losing the unloseable game.

We had a bloke (A grade opening batsman, never got a bowl) could only play one week of a two week game going back about ten years ago, played him on our D's. We bowled first, they let him open the bowling, picked up 9/12, cleaned the opposition up for 26 for memory. He opened the batting and made 120 thereabouts and we were about 2/160 so they declared at 5 pm to give him another go at cleaning them up, he picked up another 2 wickets as they went in approx 2/25.

They went on to make around 180 to set our guys a target of around 40, we then got all out for 25. I have the book at home, I bring it out on special occaisions so we can have a good laugh.

Wow. That is pretty funny.

I remember beating Gawler Centrals outright in one day.....and that was their A grade.

Very good player is Bitty. Ex Salisbury West star too.

Teachers have had some guns over their time....David Kershaw and Dave Tomkins to name a couple.

Justin Jones also played some good cricket for them.....he's a bit of a different cat though.

HAHAHA - Close but no cigar. I aint Chad.

Johnny leaving is not in concrete. He has some other things to sort out first but Ozzie is really keen for Johnny to go and play with he and Parky. I reckon he should.....he's only 25. He should definitely give turf another crack.

I dont think Chad is playing cricket at all next season for personal reasons.

All the young kids you mentioned will be going round again.

Na, I had a look on the Matty Bitmead website, I can recall him keeping up to the stumps with no pads on to openers, opening the bowling in other games and was always hard to get out.

I could've and probably should've listed both Hansens, Wakefield, Tim Bell, Haese, Jasinski and Steve Edmonds all were good cricketers in their respective era's, we used to have good battles on the field and share a few drinks together at the Village or McMahons later on.
