At the end of the day though, we were the 2nd worst side in the comp and deserved relegation, it will do us good, blood some youth and come back stronger, there's more people doing shit there now than ever before.

How would you be, coming out to Dwight Reserve sitting in the box seat at 2/255 or something close to that at tea and being bowled out for 295!!! seems to me that Riverside today had a one man team in Benny (148) "dropped 8times" !!! their batters didn’t know what R. Andrews and F. McConnell could throw down!!! Some people have doubted the young demons but with a performance like today when 99 people would say the game was stitched up by Riverside, they came back with a barrel of wickets to win by 9 runs!!

What a way to start the season: D :D

Seems to be a new man in the top job brings some excitement to our young club!!

Over heard a convo today between two of the oldest cricketers we have at Eastern Park in Marty Ryan and Darren Knox!!

"With our combined age of 91 we managed to run 4 on One Tree Hill oval........"

Really?? Could this be real anyone from OTH want to comment on this one?? Surely if its true there has to be a trophy for running 4 on that oval... Most of our A grade couldn’t run that!!!

Marty would have been the batter then.

Good day out at Ridley, Rosies bowled Craigmore out for 106 in the first dig and let them have another hit. They finished 6 for 110ish.

Riverside have only had two or three decent batsmen the past few seasons IMO so that collapse doesnt suprise me at all!

I just don't get it. The captain on the weekend gave his fielding votes as he was walking past going to his car.

Totally agree norm played westies and 6 of our blokes went over to have a beer, not one acknowledged us or even looked at us, is a disgrace, wont be including myself in welcoming back anyone from there again in the reverse fixture. Rather spend 4.50 at our club then 6 bucks at there's anyday anyway. Well done to young Josh Glenn for smashing 115, this lad will take apart grade 1 attacks

Was only stirring, I knew the situation with Scott and respect his decision. He's good quality to have when a bit of banter forms in the field.

Perhaps the captain your referring to probably thought it more important to take away his partner who has breast cancer away Saturday night rather than hang around for a beer

I believe he bought 4 this weekend

Perhaps raise it face to face rather than dribbling on here as you basically have foot in mouth on this one

Its reasonably long to the boundary near the playground.... seen plenty of 3s with the ball hit out that way. Id back Jars senior and Jars Junior (from oth) to run a 4 if the ball went out there and there was no mid-on fielder.... definitely a fair ol' effort for who ever it was though!

That's all well and good. I was just using that as one example. The rest of the team?? Just saying that it seems to be happening everywhere. I encourage all my teams to make an effort to bye at least one drink opposition clubs.

Plenty of better places to go and better things to do on a Saturday evening. Staying back at OTH for a beer would be the last thing on my list, well under rubbing gravel in my eyes... I'd probably stay back at salisbury west and that's it.
