An interesting and unusual occurance happened on saturday, which I want to thank Mercedes OC for their sportsmanship.
A catch had been taken on the boundary, the fielder had control of the ball but did not have control of his movements, throwing the ball to the ground in anticipation of falling over the boundary. But he never actually fell over the boundary. Unsure of the direct rule for such an occurance one of the Mercedes fielders explained the rule and said he was not out. If he hadn't of said anything it might of been a different decision.
Such incidents of sportsmanship are becoming rare in the LO grades, with out umpires you of course have your team mates umpiring and decisions are very biased. For example the game before last I saw an opposition batsman get clean bowled and given not out, that was a first
