Great turn out by the boys on Sunday at the first training session...

Trevor 'Chep Pallet' Shepard was seeing them like beach balls... Looked as though he never missed a session since last year...
New bowler Jimmy McCarthy was moving through the crease like clock work, even though he stayed up all night watching the Miss Universe Pageant Final and was a little tired...
Dr Chris 'Nixon' McLean was due to be ready for the first training session, but is still in Bali trying to negiotate a deal to help Schapelle Corby to be released just in time to watch his debut for Ingle Farm.
"To be honest, she is lost in her own bewildering world where fantasy, hallucinations and bizarre ideas dominate her mind," Dr McLean told New Idea magazine.
The only other downfall were the poor young kids and local media outside that waited the entire session for some autographs and interviews of their famous Ingle Farm players (some wearing their Barclay Matthews shirts), unfortunately the kids and media were turned away due to Coach Shepard putting the playing group on a media ban until the start of the season...

We are extremely happy with the recruits we have picked up.
Not only have we picked up some very handy cricketers, but they are all good people too..
Will fit in to the club very well, hopefully for many years to come..
In saying that, A2 will be a very competitive comp this year...
Our best will certainly be competitive...
