We ended up playing after they cut and re-clipped it but it was a shocker to bat on. We lost the toss and by some miracle made 180
Umpires have to stand up and say something instead of hanging around for the cash and playing in unsuitable conditions.
ATCA should be all over this by now?

Yeah made 260 or around there. Were 1/70 and 5/180 then we took 4 cheap ones to get to 9/200 but the last wicket proved to be the killer adding about 60, number 10 made 43 and 11 19*.

Looked a good pitch and will be a good run chase next week.

Jimmy didn't play.

ATCA could basically pick any 11 and they would take care of the hard wicket warriors!! Before you PDCA guys get your knickers in a knot, I know you beat ATCA the other year. The thing is no one in ATCA cares about rep cricket. The best 11 is never picked. Just look at the Brahma Lodge players that represented PDCA when they were in that comp. Only Sibbick would be in the top 40 ATCA players, just. If ATCA, and the players In ATCA were serious about this, they would outright PDCA in a 50 over game, easily.

Fairplay to Unley's B1 side today. One of our batsmen were given out run out only to be called back when they admitted the ball had been dropped before the stumps were broken.
We always claim to be robbed and sometimes call the opposition cheats when decisions don't go our way, but when something like this happens it needs to be acknowledged.
Well played Unley and I hope the B1's are able to get off of the bottom of the table with a few wins in the last few games
