Couldn't agree more bloods - was a good night. Congrats to all at WYC for putting it on. I know that the Lee family values what the clubs do greatly and hosting it in the mound bar where David "relaxed" ofter playing so much cricket for Richmond and catered for by the BBQ staff where he earned his Westies life membership just made it even more special.

Shame anout the result of the match though!

Is it true Ollie cramped up one day after bowling about 8-10 overs and told the skipper he couldn't go on?

Match result was fine.

Was a little disappointed with a Cove player winning a meat tray though ;)

2 of the last 3 wkts where bowled. Couldnt have cheated that much..
Was the LBW and the caught behind the dodgy ones ?

Tips round 9..

North Haven vs Belair: could well be a battle to stay up. Haven't seen North Haven yet this year but word is they are struggling. Belair to win Comfortably with a big score from Portlock.

South Road vs WYC: Could this be the end of WYC and their domination of ASCA? This is a huge match with a finals spot on the line. I think South Road will get up in a close one on their home deck.

Coromandel vs Keswick: Another huge match!! Keswick coming off an outright will be full of confidence. Are a very good side when playing well. As are Coromandel however. Stating the obvious here, but whoever handles the new ball best will win. Max Cheek is head and shoulders the best bowler in the comp so if he fires again that will be a key for Coro. Looking forward to bowling to my housemate ;)
Coromandel in a very tight game.

Morphies vs Ramblers: Morphies have dropped off whilst Ramblers have improved. Ramblers easy and to push for the 4!

ANA vs ICC: playing for pride in reality. ANA coming to the end of a good era. ICC have the best batsman in the comp in Ledgard. More runs for him. ICC win.

Plympton vs Cove: Don't really think Cove will care about the last 3 games so I think this will be their loss they need. Plympton, yes Plympton to win!!

 that's rather extreme.

South road made 9/252 yesterday. They were 1/125 off 40 overs at tea so good effort by us I think.

We bowled extremely well I thought. Best we've bowled with new ball all year. Calder nearly out on 0, with an inside edge past leg stump. Edged one past second on 5 and then thought we had him lbw on around 15. Krutli was plumb on around 10 aswell but given not out, although we got him out lbw when he clearly wasn't out. Calder batted and ran extremely well.

Big chase next week and I reckon we can do it 4-5 down.

They have Hawkeye at South Road now? ASCA moving up in the world of cricket ;)
