Rules are rules. Can't blame the Pulteney player for that. Your guy should have stood behind the stump line just to be sure. No need to be out in front of it.

The ball was dead he was just walking there with the Umpire, who gave it not out at first. The ball had gone from the keeper to a fielder to go back to a bowler. same as a batsmen being allowed to walk out of crease to check the pitch etc etc. the ball was dead, and after we decided to retract out appeal in there innings when we stumped there bloke for wondering. Absolute Joke !
