sorry i forgot its only a batsmans game and the bowlers shouldn't be given the odd advantage, should the PDCA make a new rule everyones matting should also be the same age to prevent home teams haveing any advantage?

Nothing like a new poster getting straight into it   . It's a different pitch to the other 50 odd in the association, that's all that was said, matting's vary slightly but nothing compares to whatever is covering the concrete at Greenwith, Brahma get to play on it every 2nd game and can train there, obvious advantage anyway that you look at it.

I never made an excuse just said it will be a different game at out home ground with real matting not fake grass. It comes on very slow and it's deceiving. Its your home ground I understand you have to back it up but no one is used to that and it's a good home ground advantage.

we haven't trained there yet but thats a very good idea. :) I think its ok, good change rooms, viewing and shade. The oval is a good size - a few pot holes here and there but nothing that cant be fixed. and as Papas says a good home ground advantage.

Instead of excuses, lets look at why you lost R.E.S.P.E.C.T Showed no respect for the B grade team, tried to smash every ball out of the park charged our quick bowlers nothing wrong with the mat

A few pot holes, looks like the oval is a rabbits playground!!!

If they can be fixed why aren't they? Someone will do a bad injury on this ground.

Every ball is an exageration, surely.

And another one, did you say quick bowler? Which one was that. :D

Not sure if we showed no repsect as you put it, I would say it was not a good batting display is the reason we lost the game and the pitch conditions is not the same as other PDCA pitches. You may call these excuses but I know it had nothing to do with being disrespectful to a so called B grade team. I thought the game was played in good spirits and there was a bit of banter on the ground but no chat about Brahma being a B grade team, never spoken about by us. At the end of the day the better team won on that occasion.
