who were the teams custard??

Fair enough, I was actually a half decent batsman on turf, only used to bat in the bottom 3 but would've averaged at least 30, top score of 78 not out batting at 11. Had to face the 2nd new ball a few times aswell.[/quote]

30 plus LM old mate thats got to be stretching it, dirty slogger  b grade or c grade district when u and dazza left, jars was coach when you played last yeah??? then again i do remember you making a 50 odd for penfield B's when super was a grade coach that must of lifted the average ;) Still not sure why u didnt get a run in the A's after i brought you out there, should of walked into that team IMO  i also remember you hitting 18 of last over to win us the game in U14's vs port adelaide i think... thought i better talk u up after taking the piss mate n sledging ur batting  no doubt batting on turf takes far more technique and concentration then hard wicket. also bowling on turf can see many bowlers loose a yard of pace (especially skidders) n struggle to swing a four piece ball, even i could swing the 2 pieces we use ;) no doubt playing on turf sorts out the men from the boys.

just quietly... ... ... .. ....

How good was that catch 8) :-bd

Just quietly it was a ripper...i was at square and soon as duane smashed it i thought 6 bits easily...cracking shot and the catch was even better...how far off the line did you end up?

he was about 3m inside mate. my money was definitely on the ball. reeled in a ripper

how confident are you with that one? I could've reached out a hand while I was laying on the floor and touched the boundary marker I reckon... First thing I did once realised I still had hold of it after hitting the deck was look for the boundary LOL!

I think he had to work sat morning so nothing in it. Always good to beat Westies, doesn't happen often enough. these are the games our B grade must keep winning if they are going to seriously challenge. We thought we would struggle in grade 2 this year but its been a good alround team effort so far rather than any standouts. Suprised a few teams I think. Only half way so a long way to go.
