fanclub- how come boes is opening the bowling when there are so many other options down there? eg hansen holdsworth ray button tasker & patto.
We don't know, it was confused looks by all from the sidelines...
it wouldve been confused looks from the sidelines as shoes were 5/70odd with the boes grabbing all of them, rocked up at tea shoes 17 runs with 4 wickets in the bank then 4 runs to win and 4 wickets still in hand then it was lights out for the shoes as they grabbed defeat from the jaws of victory port win by 2 runs, all the shoes crowd left and hopefully they went down to noarlunga and saw there b grade pretty much do the same thing,i think i know what hurt shoes 10 and 11 dont bowl and all they do is field so they r pretty much playin 2 short shoeboy why is this why even pick them? and why is van de brink playing b grade he's better bat than the last 5 guys in the a grade

Take it you werent at the game last week LK, Or you would of seen the Big Hodgey roll, Scarffy, Jimmy & Jonny Passmore bowling an absolute treat, Jimmy had no need to bring either Olly Rhodes or Steve Carlyle on cause the other fours boys had the Porties batsmen under pressure all day, Saw Olly bowl a good spell down at Kangies the game before gabbing the first two wickets. And steve and Olly put on a valueble 30 runs against Seaford Rise in the first game which pretty much won the game for the Shoe boys. They have the best top six plus the best batsmen in the comp in Jason Scarff so watch out any team that comes against them in the next few games, Porties was just a minor slip up by the boys.

steve carlyes golden duck and mr president(rhodes) 0/20 off 2 overs were excellent contributions. you boys could of used a vader or tasker in that very long tail. porties and cove both have a better top 6 than the shoes

Is there any truth to the rumour that VC retired as a player for Cove on the weekend ??

Not stating it as fact, but I received an SMS to that extent and wondered if it was true or not.

Is that right AA forgot those two boys (Veides / Tasker) posted some big runs in the A grade last year ! And Porties must of thought really highly of young Jake starting him off in the C grade.

Lk Dain Mcphail is an old junior who has returned from Southern just coming to grips with the extra bounce of the hard wickets, But the kid has talent and has fitted in beautifully with the boys down the club. And Matty Edwards is doing a stellar job opening up with a 50 in the first match against Seaford and thirty odd against kangies, the boys are looking for big things during the rest of the season.

They've just found out what the internet is in Old Noarlunga and now they're making up for lost time.

Relax LK, it was only a minor slip-up against Port Noarlunga, just like the minor slip up in the final against them last year. Oh yeah and the 46 in a row minor slip ups in B grade Grand Finals. Stop living in a bubble shoes. It burst long ago.

Surely Cove have to be the hot favourites to go top again. And they have already played a couple of their expected rivals ! Haven't even looked like losing yet, I suspect because they are a class above everybody else.
