Also are there a few guys not playing at Rosies this year? Jimmy, Burden and Stamatovich. If so with the loss of Brahma you could pretty much put Westies name on the shield now.

Where are these 3 boys heading then? Heard the rumour of bomber to EP... What about Jimmy and Stama?

I thought both jimmy and stama were staying with rosies, think only catchit could confirm that rumour to be right or wrong?

Can confrim that all is rosey out at Smithfield, all on deck, a couple of possible signings to enhance our A grade aswell as a few making possible returns to the club that will compliment our current A grade squad.
Once again we'll use this time to promote our youth but we have some solid heads to help out around them.

So Jimmy not playing at all?
Big loss for Rosies if true and Bombers move to EP will leave a few spots to fill, any new players at Rosies?

Salisbury West should be favourites already with a few new signings and maybe more around Xmas.

He might play the odd game but I doubt it...to be honest I am not sure if we have picked up anyone as I have yet to get to a training or meeting, and that there is telling me I'm close to done. I would usually be the one for pushing training to start or be the one wanting to talk to new recruits. I just can't be ******.. Hopefully I get keen very soon..sals west are used of being fav so it's just another waste of 14 games for them ;)

Massive blows no doubt, but there are some younger keen blokes around looking for a chance to step up - Feltus, Feltus, Bedgegood, Mitchell, Broadstock.

I'm experiencing the opposite for a change, I've got itchy feet and am excited about round 1, I've been bowling well and know it's my only hope of playing A's, positions are going to be tough for a pleasant change and I want to be in the team for a role to play other than a captain.
Bring it on, there's a real buzz around the place atm, something that pre-season doesn't really have generally.

There will be a bit of conjecture over who'll be placed in Grade 2 for this season, it would further enhance the push to go to 6 teams per grade. It's going to be a bit tough on the bottom ranked couple of sides I'd think.
Grade 1
Angle Vale
Central United
One Tree Hill
Parafield Gardens
Rose & Crown
Salisbury West
Smithfield
Virginia

Grade 2
Craigmore (3rd in G2 last season)
Riverside (4th in G2 last season)
Salisbury West B (5th in G2 last season)
Salisbury North (6th in G2 last season)
ATCO (7th in G2 last season, Minor Premiers in G3)
One Tree Hill B (8th in G2 last season)
Eastern Park (Premiers in G3 last season)
Central United B (3rd in G3 last season)

Given the departure of Brahma Lodge and ATCO's A& B's keeping Grade 2 at a stalemate it would appear that One Tree Hill B's will have to remain in Grade 2 and Central United B's will get promoted despite finishing 3rd in Grade 3.
There's really no other solution unless the all-conquering Rose & Crown B grade can jump from Grade 4 to 2, all other clubs would struggle big time on last years form.
Should've made it Grade 1 & Grade 1 reserves etc, sure enough Salisbury West would be the front-runners in the ressies but so be it.
