Wow, sitting 2-zip must allow you the luxury of worrying about what other clubs are doing.... :p

I'm not a selector, but I'm fairly sure MC wasn't going to play at all but managed to free himself up for a few hours on Saturday morning to make a cameo appearance mid-arvo due to lack of numbers. I do believe however that the roll of red carpet was able to be speed-couriered to Grand North in time for his entry onto the playing arena and save embarrassment to the B grade skipper for being unorganized.....

I agree. Bring them up with the big boys instead of sandbagging

and whats with Fitzroys media ban? Surely 2 losses doesnt call for a cut off from the forum?

Sparrow who tore it up the week before with the bat didn't play either and our Biggest recruit this season Troy Bills is due to make his debut in a few more weeks.

From what I saw (which wasn't a great deal to be honest) on the weekend Fitzroy seemed to value their wicket more with the bat than last season and have some good experience in the team.
Had a good foundation at drinks to build a big total. I didn't see them bowl however. There not that bad IMO and should still push to play finals.
