Aldinga vs Goolwa - All depends on B Garrard, if he fires then Aldinga will win. I reckon Goolwa's batting line up will be a bit too strong for the second string Aldinga bowling attack. Also im hoping Vincent has been dropped, what a muppet.
Encounter Bay vs Mclaren - Hopefully the turf wont be too wet, but yeah Encounter Bay will win this easily... Too good of a bowling line up & with Moller back, i just cant see Mclaren posting a competitive score or chasing one.
Mt Compass Gold vs Mt Compass Maroon - May be closer than everyone thinks, but im still predicting the Golds to win as Rob Martin is in the other team, the kids a joke... he cant even get runs or wickets on Shane Warne Cricket 99.
Willunga vs Port Elliot - PE wont be able to get Peek out, therefore they wont win, also im predicting Lukey Harding to make some runs this week. Tyson Hack is deplorable. Would also like to see Gavin Smith get a duck, such a sook.

Loose_Arab wrote:Aldinga - As long as Bryce Garrard keeps making runs, they will be okay. Their batting needs more depth but not a bad bowling lineup lead well by Schofield.
Encounter Bay - Best bowling line up in the comp. Lintern is a gun & Butler is a game changer. The only thing they need to work on is consistancy in their batting, the talent is there with Edwards, Moller, Beveridge & Foggo.
Goolwa - One of the best batting line ups, Bailey & Spurling look gold & when Evans gets firing, id say they would be a huge threat. On a down point, Vincent is trash, would much rather see a youngen from their B grade fill his place. And also McDonald looks good with the ball.
McLarenvale - Have slipped off the radar but still think they are a genuine contender. Wilson is having a good year, just needs more help in the top order.
Mount Compass Gold - Losing Mcmillan & Tomo will put a decent dent in the team... but there is enough talent to fill the spots... well rounded team... except for Dalitz, hes terrible, wouldnt even take wickets in C2's.
Mount Compass Maroon - Led well by Binns, will upset a few teams. Not much to say here... you know they have serious issues if they bat Lewis at 3 & have Rob Martin in the line up.
Port Elliot - Not sure how they are sitting 3rd, doubt they will be their for long. Clarke is the only decent player... & Hamish Robinson is rubbish.
Willunga - Peek is a gun, needs some help from Harding etc. Young Thomas is a good find... also need Alex Williamson playing regularly.

bit hard there on dalitz, probs the best fast bowler left in compass! sad to hear about the young and fragile mind of mcmillan, the boy could bowl!

heard a rumor that lintern is making the move out of ebay next season??? any truth

C'mon Rocky... he'd have as good a game as you and his comments are pretty close to the mark. You're stats wouldn't be as good as you are making them out to be so let people have their opinion as you certainly give yours out and it's not always positive. As they say... 'if you can't handle the heat then get out of the kitchen!'

Who said anything about how many A grade games you've played and/or what people say about you.. You're stats just aren't that great and what you've said is not close to the mark at all. If I remember correctly last year you said Goolwa was the best team and you would be premiers....??? Do I have to say anymore.... Backing Goolwa is fine, good blokes and some good cricketers but pretty sure judging by the ladder last year you didn't win the flag or get close. What you say is entertaining.. I'll give you that.

Both Loose_Arab and LoOse Arab have both been fairly spot on!!! Peek is an absolute run scoring machine, scored a 102 yesterday on a very wet, slow Willunga outfield before running himself out!! Willunga ended up posting 5/233 on a very slow outfield like i mentioned before, after a delayed start to the game. Did many other teams get a full days play in?

This is a joke. Why hasnt Myponga got an A grade? Bowled the top side Willunga out for 24 on the weekend. Alex Mason took 7 for 9, should of been playing with Warne & McGrath last night!
Just thought i'd get in before RockyB  :D
Saw Binnsy chuck his bat about 20m after getting out, not being a bad sport or anything, just one of those days when cricket sucks, funny stuff!

Goolwa the worst how can that be ,only Evans and Robertson say anything to the other team.

Think you will fine that all teams are as bad as each other ,you will always get some sides who say a little bit more towards some clubs than they would towards other clubs that is just cricket,at the end of the day its all fun and if you take it to heart then give up cricket .

Funny Post
Classic Sledgers!!!!!!
Sledging isn't that bad in GSCA compared to other leagues, most guys know each other pretty well and dont take it personally unless they actually cant bat or bowl!!!
