Mate you really have no idea, stop reading everything you hear as gospel ok. If your gonna hang shit on my club losing a GF, do some research and realise we lost batters 3,4,5,6,7 and our best/fastest bowler from last years GF team yet we somehow managed to have a fairly productive year. At the start of the year everyone tipped us to finish bottom one or two. But you already knew all that hey?

So hows div 2 looking mate or is it div 3 next year?

Rita i think you have it wrong Auto is the nicest play you can play against. Maybe you are talking about their opening batsmen that do also bowl a bit.

Well you'd be wrong champ, im about as far from arrogant as you can get. So far in fact i have deep psychological issues which affects my ability to function in everyday society. Some people think i may be a serial killer trapped inside a calm man's body.

Rita, your silence is deafening... ;) So again, how is your mob going to justify an elevation to Div 1 next year, let alone compete with the big boys?? I know how keen you are to talk cricket. 8)

I would imagine most clubs would justify an elevation to div 1 by winning the div 2 grand final....not rocket science cowboy. lucky for me however my club doesnt need to do that.

******MEDIA BAN LIFTED********

hey chaps!! For the record, this rita chap is cracking me up...i like him/her. Just a thought, could be RItchie/TArcs ????? Or some Indian dude name ATIR ---rita spelled backwards for those of you that cant see that

who won the div2 final ??

For the record, the world wasnt spinning against fitzies this year. we lost, plain and simple, to the better team. The Hulks catch was a match winner, hands down. As i said as presentations, this is the best year of cricket i have been associated with, and surpasses the great 06/07 premiership. so much talent at the roys.......just have to stop vi$ta from trying to poach our players!!!!

And also, for the record, i am the most arrogant guy at fitzies!! And most fights start with me too...nearly happened in the GF too...although mythbuster1/2 and I seemed to sort it out quite quickly as most professionals should.

love u's all.

Also, if you take out the 10 votes for the name change to BALDING CUP, there seems to be an overwhelming support for a name change to SA Amateur Cricket.

Exec taking any notice?

Thoughts? Or should we all be looking for clubs to merge with and go to Suburban? If Vista are seriously persuing turf, then apart from this being sacreligious, this will make a serious dent on the strength of the comp.

For starters, your mob hardly won a game all season, let alone the Div 2 GF, so how 'bout you show sum spuds for a change and answer the question, instead of talking gibberish.

Good to see the self-imposed media ban has been lifted BB.. ;) The beauty of having young talent is there's no bounds to what they can do. Throw in Loechel having a solid year with the bat. Great result for the club, current and for the future. 8)

As for a name change, I think that's probably one of the least important agenda items the Exec should be looking at when they next meet to discuss 2011/12. Just my opinion. The distinct lack of committed juniors is alarming (and has been for many years), as is the steady trickle of teams either folding, reducing in team numbers or moving to other comps. And if the Div 2 -premier comes back to Div 1 (I'm led to believe they don't really want to), they wouldn't have too many, if any, players under 25 (maybe even 30) on their books. :? I don't know what the answer is to be honest, but the way C&CCA is going, give it 5-6yrs and there'll be 2 divisions, 3 at best. Even offering the chance to compete in National Championships doesn't give us any advantages. Plenty of players from PDCA have registered an interest in coming over to C&CCA for that reason only, but when the crunch comes, they end up staying put. I think you could call the comp whatever you like and it won't make one iota of difference. Once again, IMO. ;)

PS; Pidge got a flogging in the 1:1 batting battle, so time for The Pidge to feather up!
