ok first things first dutchy did'nt bat smasha at 10.

but i can see why he was listed at 10, as IF we were in a better position he wouldve been a floater IE come in to lift the rate early on or come in later for some big hitting.

and your point? was a great six ;) no was stating I was upset at batting at 10 and left not out, never get too many not outs  dont know who you are but if you want to start things ? bring it on, if not back off

I thought you should have batted higher, what position do you normally bat for your club?

the trouble is for the coach when you put a side together like this you generally have 7 or 8 blokes that bat in the top 4 or 5 of there club sides and same with the bowlers you've got 4 or 5 that probably open for there club side hence the issue of fitting everyone in an order.

Yep thats right carey...hard to please everyone in those games especially hard for a captain who bats and bowls to not piss blokes off for batting to high or bowling to much..

Because of the rain last Tuesday, he was unable to train for TTG, then only having one training on the Thursday and 20 people being left out every week, Shane wasn't selected in a side for the weekend. They said they need more of a chance to have a look at him.

Because of this, Shane played on the weekend and will probably play this weekend for us again. If he doesn't get selected in the next match then we hope he keeps playing for us.

Worst luck on the weekend again for Shane, wind up the hill was blowing sideways across the ground and Shane smashed a 6 that i swear went so high over the fence, that it got caught in the wind and blew back into field and was eventually caught about 4 or 5 meters inside... thats how windy it was! Any other day would have been a six by about 20 meters.... unlucky!

How are they meant to look at him if he doesnt play? Thats crazy..plenty of gun bats in the nets but the only way to find out is throw him in the deep end and watch him swim...good for you guys though...yeah was windy at parafield to...maybe thats why daniel didnt hear my call   ....
