Cove v Morphett vale

Morphett Vale all out for 151 in the 71st over not the most exciting cricket to watch but credit i guess to them for batting out the majority of the day

Noarlunga V Porties
Porties all out for 152 in the 66th over, shoes bout 1/10 after 9 overs with Bosie getting the early wicket of Matty E . A great team effort by all the bowlers, hodgy roll, jimbob and the goonwolf (j. Passmore) all did a great job, but it was one man who lead the bowlers like the champion he is -- D. Scarff. Taking 3 - 35 off 14. Looking forward to Junior dominating next week to get the lads over the line. Meanwhile, down at the B's it was great fun to be back at shoes on the new pitch - will take a while to settle down but this is the way of the future. Porties made 186 and we're 1/13 in the chase. Cough up the fine spanner so we can "FIND YOUR KIDS".

In fan club news, scarffy is getting right into his new healthy eating program, cutting all lactose products from the menu and adding some light jogging into the daily planner.

this weeks funny

The two clubmen were talking. 'So you had a hard time explaining the cricket game to your wife, eh?'

'I certainly did. She found out I wasn't there.'

i got an even funnier one for you

Thinking Penalty

the captain of a team says to the Umpire,

"My players want to know if there is a penalty for thinking."

The Umpire says, "No."

The captain says, "Well we think you're a dropkick, then."

Great to hear that David is starting to get back to his best and agree it is also a pleasure to see juniour return and am sure he will put on a good show.

Vades I just dont get as he wanted to bat at a higher level as he thought that he was never given that chance at the Shoe? and here he is playing B grade and batting at 8!! as for Task I know he is not comfortable playing their and is just giving one year for Trev as this is his last year last year last year last year you know what I mean????

Enemy??? Deep down you love Porties.......shoe boy

As for Vades, its only game 3...without knowing how many runs he's made I'm sure he'll get a run in the 1sts if he makes enough.
