Although though port elliot aren't all that great on paper, you cannot knock there bowling at the moment, the elliot batters have been underachiaving, however there bowling has been saving them week in week out. How long will the bowling line up be able to carry them? i dunno, but if port elliott start to perform with the bat there is no reason they won't play finals cricket.

Yep i agree Port Elliot have got a resonable bowling line up ,but it is not that great think sides get themself out alot from what i heard, they are yet to play any good sides in two day games and have failed badly with bat, have only made over 150 once and only just made 100 in other games this is not a good sign for a side if they want to play finals

Yeah well there still sitting above the old pies at this stage rocky, but after the shaking start Goolwa got off to, there batting and bowling are starting to look real strong, and he younger players seem to be getting there jobs done. I noticed that the young keeper is coming 6th in the state for keeping dismissals with 18 year olds like that the club the future is bright Rocky B

things have just got very tight in the a's

Aldinga will convincingly beat goolwa and put rockyb and his ego back into place, the forum was was better when we didnt have to read every second post why goolwa has been the best team in the gsca for the past 10 years
Mclaren will beat encounter bay in a tight one but i dont think mac vale are a bad team just need to find the right formula and they will be up there, i have a feeling this week they will finally show some much needed form on the pitch
Surley Golds will beat maroons but im sure the few experience players of the maroons will have the ability to bat out some of the inexperienced bowlers of the golds and then put away the pies of num. big news about tomo and mcmillan leaving the main fire power with the ball for golds
pt elliot because i just like watching the under dogs win! expect another big innings from inform peek ! think its time from some other players of the dees to make it into double figures

Aldinga - As long as Bryce Garrard keeps making runs, they will be okay. Their batting needs more depth but not a bad bowling lineup lead well by Schofield.
Encounter Bay - Best bowling line up in the comp. Lintern is a gun & Butler is a game changer. The only thing they need to work on is consistancy in their batting, the talent is there with Edwards, Moller, Beveridge & Foggo.
Goolwa - One of the best batting line ups, Bailey & Spurling look gold & when Evans gets firing, id say they would be a huge threat. On a down point, Vincent is trash, would much rather see a youngen from their B grade fill his place. And also McDonald looks good with the ball.
McLarenvale - Have slipped off the radar but still think they are a genuine contender. Wilson is having a good year, just needs more help in the top order.
Mount Compass Gold - Losing Mcmillan & Tomo will put a decent dent in the team... but there is enough talent to fill the spots... well rounded team... except for Dalitz, hes terrible, wouldnt even take wickets in C2's.
Mount Compass Maroon - Led well by Binns, will upset a few teams. Not much to say here... you know they have serious issues if they bat Lewis at 3 & have Rob Martin in the line up.
Port Elliot - Not sure how they are sitting 3rd, doubt they will be their for long. Clarke is the only decent player... & Hamish Robinson is rubbish.
Willunga - Peek is a gun, needs some help from Harding etc. Young Thomas is a good find... also need Alex Williamson playing regularly.

Games this Week......

Aldinga V Goolwa- Great game will see where Aldinga are, But Goolwa probably have a better side on paper. However I think Aldinga just because they are at home...
Enc Bay Vs Mclaren- Both teams have solid sides. McLaren are under the pump and needs more out of there top order, Enc Are Dangerous at home..McLaren just because they need to win otherwise they can wave finals goodbye...
Mt Compass Marron V Willunga- If MCM can get peek out quick and Binns make rund maybe an upset in this one. Apart from Peek there top order is looking a shade average this year.
Port Elliot V MC Gold- Port Elliot keep fighting, but I think MCG will come back from a disapointing loss and take this one.

Good luck on the weekend Boys
