Seems to be no love loss between a certain Sals West supporter and a couple of the R & C lads on here.

Pap all the info is on the front page of our website. It went on as soon as I received notice from the association. Supers details are there too... its about 5 or 6 articles down.
With that... a slight deflection to the next topic!

Just turned 16 year old Ian Williamson backed up last weeks 60 odd and 4 wickets with a 100 coming in at 1 for 5.

If theres a better all round cricketer at 16 i havent seen him yet, big call i know.

Also was great to see Addo McCafferty hit 40 odd opening the innings again and little DJ taking a 4 for again.

ease up there champ ;)

I would say young Jake Lehamn at 16 playing District Cricket is a far better bat plus all the other lads playing at District Level around the same age
Keep in mind it is Div 3 Para Districts
If the kid is that good then he should be at a District Club and your club should be pushing him to go and be the best he can be

Not denying he has talent but Grade 3 is hardly a tough comp - especially when you look at Grade 2 with so many B Grade sides in it

i FOR ONE HOLD JIMMY IN VERY HIGH REGARD, anyone that is that skinny and can bowl that fast without splitting in two has talent  ;) but truthfully I would have jimmy in my side anytime. he would destroy churches IMO.
AND THE BIG FELLA CATCHIT , yeah I would take him too ,not bad for an old fella (I know not that old ) but both are great for the game. post from an interested observer thats all.

Mate is Craigmore on their annual mid-season break again? Every year they dominate at the start and fall away in the middle. With the Lodge going and probably only 1 spot up for grabs for Grade 1 next year, you guys would be desperate to get that spot off the Units who are travelling along very nicely.

Annual Mid season break? We lost to the top team in div 2 in the last over of a 1 day game, hardly call this a break.

Would not say we have dominated this season as Brahma beat us a few rounds back and Riverside gave us a scare before that.
It is a long season and being top at Xmas is not all its cracked up to be, believe me we know.
There is a long way to go and I think we would rather be hitting top form in late March than November- December.
As a wise man once told me you dont win premierships at Xmas.
Units are good solid team with a few young guys hitting their straps, the better team won on the weekend. The weather probably didnt help us either. We all know we have some work to do to knock them over.
It was a good game played in good spirits and good luck o the Units.

Dude, they have under-achieved, they have not scored to their capabilities, they look solid while they are out there but play one bad shot and get dismissed. No one has really spoken them up, there's potential there, no one is standing up to play a big innings.
