well played brahma. would of been nice for us to avoid 2 ridiculous run outs at 2 for 54 of 16. once again we were of to a solid start looking at a good score only to capitulate. run outs started the rot no doubt. but that can happen with 3 kids in the team and so many who havent played grade 1 cricket b4. personally i found that pitch a little poppy though. reminded me a little of a sticky turf deck not coming onto the bat, cutting n kickin . its been a tuff season 4 us after winning our 1st game vs virginia(should of had the points vs pg if not for a shocking umpiring display, yes it was that bad  ). never had our full strength side on the park which we need in grade1, once again 2 of our best bowlers out(dazza n azza), we just dont have the depth to cover such players but will continue to blood the youth. from wot ive seen this year rosies n westies teams to beat IMHO. however there is no doubt we are more than capable of picking up a few more wins this season in grade 1 if we pull our fingers out of you know where #-o .

Your B grade looked in all sorts of trouble at one stage! Lucky their bowling and fielding was far superior!

oooorr

What odds for M. Bedgegood to get F. Costanzo out? :D

MBF 2.50 vs Forts 1.50
Bedgegood to dismiss Forts 7.50.

The head to head between MBF and Forts should be null and void since MBF never got out :P

Must say there were a couple of very close LBW chances against Costanzo turned down, but apart from that really didnt offer a chance all day. Easy to see why he has made so many runs.

Either way thats the best win we have had all season, tough opposition and were in early trouble at 2/9 then 3/24, but lucky our middle order knuckled down abs gave us a decent total to defend.

Even up to the last wicket i felt it could still go either way.

Good work phantom.. you must be good for a loan? Surely?

Yeah fair chance.. you would hope it was the pitch and not the batting..

Churches all out 53
Lynch 5/6
PDCA 3/54
hargreaves 18*
davies 10*

pitch wasnt favourable for the batsmen today, ball was zipping around in every direction, but in saying that the yound lads from PDCA bowled tight lines and fielded really well. Well done to Lynch, very good 5/6 with also 2 catches and a run out to his name!
Really enjoyable watching some of the "new breed" of cricketers represent our association in that fashion.

I stopped to have a look at a couple of games off Salisbury Hwy, Glen still pushed them through at reasonable pace and rushed a couple of the R&C batsmen, managed to get to Parafield just in time to see Daniel run Stama out, fair to say Stama didnt look impressed, might of been a few words if Daniel got out in the next few overs.Stuck around to see Jimmy bowl and was impressive but i did think Brenton struggled to glove them?
Got back to see Constanza in full flight with some very clean hitting and would be kicking himself for getting out the way he did.

Yep definately, tough conditions for batting early on but still churches lacked any sort of application and shot selection was very ordinary!

Lynch bowled well, made the most of the conditions though.
