From what I hear they were chasing quick runs to send ATCO in before the end of the day to put them under some pressure. Had they just aimed to bat out the day, I've no doubt 300+ was going to happen.

i'm not in anyway suggesting they still aren't a quality outfit, and indeed punished us the week before, but we have ourselves to blame as well - missed run out last over day 1, dropped DJ twice in one over on about 10, dropped another young fella on 0 he made 20 odd and our fielding was absolute rubbish. Once Westies passed our total Wellington and McInnes just teed off and smashed us to all parts.
All i'm suggesting is are they going to be prone to collapses this season?

I would've thought the last 3 Grand Finals speak volumes of Salisbury West ability to perform when counted.

Be lucky to bat out the day n make 200... my opinion. Going to be a very tall ask for you boys to stay in div 1. I would actually like it if u did because i enjoy playing against u, usually a good group of lads but i cant quite see it happening.
The ground was lightning quick yesterday, good value for shots so anything less than 300 would've been a disappointed. There is a glimmer of hope there for Craigmore if they can bat 70 overs.
Interesting to see the scores this round though as the top 2 from last years Grade 1 play the top 2 from Grade 2, appears to show the gap that exists between Grade 1 & Grade 2
I think there is a fairly large gap between SW and R&C to the rest of Grade 1 as well except maybe AV on their day.
I think you will find OTH will be a massive chance this year. Jaz up the top of the order I will almost back for most runs in the comp, along with T Scott looking to have a massive year, Smitty and McNair as well, Neil if he decides to play every week. They are my tip to sneak under the radar all year and make the GF.
Any flag odds or grand final quniella odds LM??
