no up front money is payed to any of the Sandy players, it is all incentive based and they are the same incentives for each and every other player thats suits up for the a grade. I would think most sides have that kind of set up wouldnt they?

A story for the grandkids one day. Maybe I am a better bowler than I thought.
Was no co-incidence that our front line bowlers coveniently showed up just as the little master was finishing his hit.
Meanwhile, it's Lucky Gilbert Valley practice against Jimmy V, coz B.Woodards and Matty Blinks were searingly quick last night.
If Woody bowls like that Saturday GV will be lucky to make 20.
2ft of inswing was almost unplayable.
Beware.

i love reading this what was the score in the end..........

Woody only bowled Ok and Blinks withdrew on saturday with tonsilitis.
Made it a bit redundant really, and we batted like monkeys which didn't help.

Or has someone come up with 'another' identity? which would give them about 8 in total.

Where can I see my favorite players such as Kurtz, Koch, Burgess boys, Fuller, Werner, Kingy and Hartigan strutting their stuff tomorrow?

suggest you take the "dont blink or you will miss him" approach when viewing fullers batting

Seen South roll a star studded Angaston line up for 150ish.
South faced a hostile welcoming from Dogga Woodards, once again the quickest spell seen in the BL&G since the late 90's. While Burgess Jnr applied his craft from the Murray Street end finishing 0/10ish.

Norm, I will play a game with you and see if you can guess the umpire we had today.

Here is the clue!!!

Player edges the ball keeper drops it but South appeal, umpire gives him out. Everyone bemused and ask how out?? Umpires response LBW!!!!!!!

Not a great day by the panthers with the bat today but good tight bowling hopefully will be enough to get us home. Last 10 overs had some heat and had the South openers jumping around, playing and missing. Almost a case of the bowlers were too quick for the batters. Dogga Woodards had the batsmen playing and missing that many times it wasn't funny

Bit of a tough day at the office for the tigers yesterday which was made even more embarrassing by Boof Mullins somehow getting runs with the oldest bat in the BLCA...
